We need to overhaul the SSB selection process so that real leadership material once again enters the NDA and IMA, and to avoid unworthy officers from rising to the rank of 4 star general officers.

Not only Ministry of Defense, even. The Army needs complete overhaul. Both in shambles. Blind leading the blind.

The sahayak system should go, no point having multiple servants, staff vehicle and perks to maintain a single individual straight from the bottom of the officer cadre. Since the CAPF imitates the military, they do it with with a more colonial serfdom.

General should be able to speak his mind rather than reading a prescribed script.
