lol that's too funny..♥️ .. Yes I've always wanted a mini stepper because my parents had one but they had an older version So I was excited when I saw these upgraded steppers🙌🏾 thanks for watching
Thank you for your easy to follow demonstration for the two types of mini steppers. The demonstration definitely helped me with my decision on which one to purchase. Definitely the side to side stepper 😊
Thanks for the review - I owning the side to side stepper as well and come across your video. One thing I would suggest whoever using it make sure to use a small fan to cool down the hydraulic cylinder while using it - this will not only extend the life of this but also make sure the resistance stay consistence after use. Also if the hydraulic cylinder is getting too hot, it will actually break down very quickly
oh yes that's a good idea regarding the fan.. i know they give a time limit of abt 30 minutes before letting cool down.. definitely important to follow tht as well
@@ASSEENBYSB I did some thermal imaging test with Honeywell HT900C fan (cheap fan but works reasonable well), as long as you have fan blow at both hydraulic cylinder at low speed (this fan place at the front of the mini stepper in about 10cm), you can actually use more than 30 minutes at room temperature 25C without issue because the hydraulic cylinder will not heat up more than warm to touch. Also the resistance will stay much more consistence during use as well. Another tips to extend life of this mini stepper is use silicone grease (just very little bit) on each of the moving joint part, it will extend the life of this mini stepper to a point that manufacture don't want you to know because it will working well for way too long so you never going to buy another..
@@Nullsing wow thats great info!!! thank u so much for sharing im sure that will definitely help people interested in this or any stepper with the hydraulic cylinder ❤️

I plan to buy one. I've been trying to improve my balance and leg strength. A few years ago I went from being healthy to not being able to walk because of an issue in my spine. After surgery, I've been walking daily to strengthen my legs. In April I stopped using my walking cane. Now I'm just building muscle .. Hopefully, I'll be driving again soon.
wow that's an amazing testimony!! thank u fir sharing that..so since u said ur building up ur strength in ur leg it may be better to choose the regular Stepper so u can make adjustments to the resistance as ur legs get stronger👍🏾👍🏾 *but since the regular Stepper doesn't come wth handle bars for balance just be sure start it at the lowest pedal height
@@ASSEENBYSB Thanks I'll do that. I walk 5 days a week but I notice I'm not where I want to be with building muscle. I think starting a new stepper workout will add to my workout.
@@dominique9934 definitely.. but want to take it slow.. I suggest the side to side with the handle bar . you are very good but I'm older and I have not the same good balance you have lol that's why I buy the side to side model
I bought the regular Sportsroyal stepper. I was really torn about which one to get. I’m thinking I’d like the twist motion. Since I have until August to replace ( glad I kept the box 😂) going to return for a replacement. Fingers crossed I’ll enjoy the twist better.
lol yes Amazon is amazing in letting u try it for a good amount of time..but yea was definitely tough to decide but i like my decision..glad i do have both tho to use just for kicks;)
@@RachelRose2 I like the side to side so much better, personally. It’s a little larger and heavier but I like the side to side motion. I can even stay on it longer.
I just bought the side to side stepper and the resistance feels so high. It isn't hard to do, but the pedal physically won't go all the way down. It goes about half the way and then slows down and I feel like I'm waiting for it to lower. Kind of like a soft close drawer. Is this normal at first?
so in the first minute of using it ur right the resistance is pretty tough..i said that as well in my initial review that I actually didn't like it at first then I realized after that minute it loosens up tremendously and you're actually able to go faster and it's not quite as tough and u get a great workout without it being too overwhelming..in my opinion at least
Thank you! This is super helpful. Do you know if sports watches are also counting steps performed on steppers as regular steps? I am curious if they would respond to those steps because they are sort of performed in a static fashion.
Thanks for watching ♥️so it's tricky with sports watches like my Fitbit etc.. it more so responds to the movement of your arms which I know is odd but that's what a fitbit representative told me when I asked them about how it responds to step counts👍🏾
@@ASSEENBYSB Very interesting! The kind of device that is designed to count steps but confuses your arms movements for steps. I guess I wish I was born Italian. I’d be getting 50000 “steps” each day 😆😆😆
lololol right!!! it is frustrating with those watches. i had to see What was up because sometimes it would calculate more than I know I did so that's why I guess it does make sense when he said that it tracks our arm movements ughhh😫
@@ASSEENBYSB But for inside use (I don't plan on moving around with it and I have my eyes on a lighter model) you recommend the side one, right? Thanks. :)
Hi there🙋🏾♀️ Yes I like the side to side one but as you mentioned it is heavier so if you're looking to move it around a bit the lighter one is the way to go. 👍🏾♥️♥️
Okay, I'm subscribing since you asked... also cuz you're adorable and seem to have a wealth of information on these fitness products and are good at explaining all of the details. have you tried a standup mini elliptical yet? I cant decide which one has more advantages… I heard you have to stop after 15min with the stepper because the hydraulics over heat. the elliptical can last for as long as you want to go but maybe not as intense… ??
hi there i haven't tried the mini elliptical likely for the reason that you just mentioned that for me it wouldn't be as challenging.. But that doesn't mean that it wouldn't have some good benefits. But yes with the stepper likely after a half hour you'll have to stop for a bit because The hydraulics do get hot.. But again by that time it is a well-needed rest. personally I would pick the stepper over the elliptical. and for me I prefer the side to side stepper
Thanks for the review! I would have a question, please. I did try to email this company, but they didn't reply. So I'm nearly 130ks (287lbs). I have tried another stepper which had a rubber tube between the bottoms of the two pedals, but on the third use that tube overheated and burst, despite using it only about 10 minutes a day. Do you think i could use this one? This looks like it built a different way. No rubber tube underneath 🤔 The other one had a weight limit of 330lbs.
hi there thanks for watching wow that's incredibly dangerous.. so most steppers tubes do get hot.. they say use about 30 min increments n let cool down for bit.. out of these two the side to side is definitely better.. only thing is u cant adjust the resistance.. im in the process of reviewing a newer one that i think is just a good as this side to side one n very similar in quality but better because u can adjust resistance. its niceday stepper n its cheaper in cost amzn.to/3U36CyN
@@ASSEENBYSB This one is not as well as the side to side stepper that you showed on the video because it's using plastic gear in between - it will actually break down very quickly
oh no really? which one of these 2 did u buy.. so the only thing i wonder which i mentioned in my longer review is that the instructions say to only to work out in 20 min increments because the cylinders get hot and need to cool down a bit..do u know if maybe that could have been the cause? ill have to look it up but i know with most other steppers when it starts to squeak u can apply oil to it to get rid of that noise. im certain u should b able to do that in this situation. I'd try that
Hello. I did an hour of this mini stair stepper workout and the calories said 150 only but my google fit said 887 calories. I did fast walking the whole 1 hour? What is the real calorie count??
that's odd it didn't calculate properly.. i normally use my fitbit to calculate my calories when doing the stepper.. i know specifically because i did a 100 calories challenge n each time it would take about 15 min or so to get to 100 calories so im sure u burned more than 150 in 1 hour👍🏾
I guess it would depend on how you use it because with the up and down stepper you can go faster or slower.. but I just like the side to side one more because I feel like it works more of my body
@@ASSEENBYSB oh ok, that's what I was thinking. I was thinking the one that move side to side would help with shrinking my waist as well. I assume that side to side motion would work the waist a little bit.
