I’m from Latinoamérica but in one of my trips in USA my brother and I went to a Starbucks (I’ve never been in one before) my english is good but in that moment I had no idea what the heck they were talking about, I just ordered what I first saw con the board so they could stop asking me questions 😭
Only been in starbucks once, and for good reason. I have lived my whole life in the US but in that moment of ordering a simple coffee I felt like I was speaking some kind of secondary english that I needed a degree to understand
