watching this channel inspired me to start snorkeling. I highly recommend this activity, the equipment cost very little and gives you access to another world and it is amazing.
@@pimpozza in my region of the world, eastern europe, the underwater life is not overly rich or colorful but it is still amazing to observe. I throw a small bait at the bottom, sometimes a little grain. I lie down on the water, calm my breathing and watch the spectacle, what fish are coming, whether there will be crayfish, pike or perch. Before I started putting on the T-shirt, I had sunburn on my back several times. Such observation is similar to meditation - you have to control your breathing, relax and stay still, all accompanied by the sound of water and the sounds of nature. It's been a long time since anything has captivated me so much and had such a positive impact on my state of mind. I'm waiting for spring for the water to warm up.
@@Krzemieniewski1What a wonderful comment, Michal! So descriptive, I was imagining everything you wrote.. You have clearly perfected the hobby! 👏 I am going to try your method once the weather warms up, and the bait too.. last time I was in the sea was early November. I live on the Adriatic coast of Italy and also don't see a vast, colourful array of creatures, (and I never swim out too far) but those I do see I could watch for hours.. last time a small sea star, a crab and a few fish.. just a magical and mysterious underwater world! Keep on enjoying this wonderful pastime. Spring is just around the corner! 🌞🙋🏻♀️
Little red squid, I almost missed you there.. just squiddin' around at the end of the show.. 🦑👏 Loved watching these creatures! Thank you, DSO.. 💚 I was reading again this evening about the whole new ecosystem they discovered a few months ago underneath hydrothermal vents in the ocean floor.. worms and snails living at temps of 75°F..!! The ocean is so mysterious, powerful and beautiful and deserves our respect always.. 🙏
Amazing deep sea beauties I love that stationary tripod fish minding his own business looks like a mosquito from far, would like to see a bigger version of it. Awesome video as usual 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Terrific imagery once again, also my favorites this time, the halosaurs. But what also makes this channel such an absolute gem, is the accompanying music. Greetings from NL.
Hello back from New England, USA :) I hope to spend some good time in your country someday, I've only been to the beautiful Dutch airport on the way to Germany. Thanks for your comment and take care!
How about Sergeant Samuel "Sam" Roderick, also known as *Mr. Sharky!* 🦈😱 SpongeBob probably wouldn't agree though.. 😆 Seriously, I love hammerhead sharks.. they're so weird and unusual with eyes placed one on either end of the T-shaped head! 💚🙋🏻♀️
Boa noite ao canal DeepSea Oddities, muito fantásticas as imagens da fonte Noaa e juntando com as músicas de Rob Endraus nos propricia um video espetacular. Essa criatura Purple Shrimp me chamou a atenção. O que mais se esconde no abismo? Deepsea Oddities nos revela.
That glass squid sure was a delightful creature & what a capture in the dark!---Strange, those halosaurs just floating there...---Grandma, what long whiskers you have! (the tripod fish!)---Amazing...despite being see-through, the camera still caught it!---That purple shrimp looks like a spider!---Red, in the dark. Makes no sense why nature would gift anything with drama when no one will see it.

One type of video I'd love to see on here is a compilation of people underwater welding and seeing scary fish lol
When I ever get a rebirth, I want to be a comb-jelly!
Me too. I want to float around with my red sparklies for the camera and then disappear into the dark depths.
A seriously strange Crab, I wonder what predator it's trying to fend off with those spines
Nr. 2 was the best, too bad that it's the shortest as well...
18:55 … walk in to a bar lol
