Nah Genshin is too big to be doomed but hey a lotta of players are leaving and some even stopped whaling the moment Wuwa dropped if they won't keep up their game Azure Promilia will finish them literally. Jinshi and Changli banner banner are already hyped around the world, even CN community are also gonna be whaling for Jinshi big time.

good devs hands down. edit: I also never had any major issues and I played wuwa from day 1. the camera did bug a lil, but only seldomly. also i did get my share of beating when i was young but I literally deserved it and it made me a better person.

Nobody should be denying the terrible launch of WuWa, however that doesn’t make the entire game bad. We can keep yapping about which gacha games is better, but only until a full year of WuWa we can truly judge it for how good it is. So far it’s on the right track.
Compensation is damage control yes and those are free 5 star and 5 each of pull currency.
The real reward/appreciation are those free 10 pulls for milestone.
And 10 of each pull for each currency as an appreciation for staying with the game until 1.1 (these are leaks btw so the credibility is still questionable) but the leakers of this are always on point.

@@KaiserBrasil , friendly reminder that tof costed like 1/10 of what wuwa costsd to produce. The fact that they couldn't beat it is impressive to say the least. Its enough to sustain but nothing crazy as demonstrated by lack of sensortower blogs on this game, they did like 1 million posts on genshin because of how much money it was making and a lot on hsr too.

whats funny about this is that they seems to forget that wuwa is still in 1.0 xDD and tbh I didnt feel any issues maybe since im playing in PC. I was forced logout to the game once and thats because of a patch I guess but after that and till this day, I didnt get any "issue" < tbh I dont give that much deal on this minor issue. For me its more like "if you dont enjoy the game then drop it but if not then play it!"

I can play very well until today fixed patch I notice frame rate drop the game feel heavier to my pc it was 40-50 fps now its drop to 30-38. the target lock so Sh*t until today its good improvement but it's also brought back the auto camera correction. New version will release 28 June, but I don't see that they will have test run before release so I hope they will not F*k up again.

On one hand, I submitted a super long feedback list, and still pretty unhappy at some aspects of the game. On the other hand, I bought almost all bonus packs 🤪
It's a mobile game, and it's free , big win all round, can not wait for it to come out on ps
I think a better rephrase and introspective of the same topic would be: Does WuWa really have the right setup to succeed as a game and a new IP?
Just remember guys, these games will only stay relevant for about 5 years tops and then drop. Even if they are good, simply cause everyone will have crazy good gear and chars and won't have to spend, so devs won't work on the game anymore and make smth new. So take that into account while your spending.
When I see someone saying that there are a lot of complains about the state the game released in and that it's still an issue all that comes to my mind is:
"Of course you're gonna see the complains, will a happy player complain? man fuck wuwa how dare that game run without a problem for me"
Even at that, most of the people crying about it get extremely mad when you ask them on what are they trying to play the game, and I have to say it, it doesn't matter if it's Genshin Wuwa or candy crush, the current year is 2024 and if you're installing your games on a hard drive instead of a ssd you can't complain about loading screens taking over a minute or the verification of the files integrity.
That thing takes 10 seconds tops on my PC and I'm barely over the minimum requirements, an ssd is one of the most noticeable upgrades you can make in these times.

It is a great game, but mobiiiile :( textures popping in, grass renderin 5ft away, parrying not reducing shields, receiving damage while dodging, parrying, being thrown up in the air, randomly, in battles, settings resetting all the time, controlls being really floaty/laggy, imputs not inputting, but I'm still playing it
CN is owned by mihoyo, there is nothing anybody can do.....
They've already whaled too hard on hoyo games to not get trapped on sunk cost fallacy.

I think going the PGR route with the rewrite was honestly the better long term play here,it's speculation here, but....I think it's just more inviting that things dont start out grimdark at the beginning. After all,there is a particular pitfall in writing where everything becomes too bleak the audience stops caring.
These arguments are cringey. So what if they're bribes, damage control or Kuro looking desperate? It's still free pulls for characters/weapons that you might want to play and use, making the game even more F2P friendly. So... what's the issue?
