Home Free is a very unique musical vocal group, they are probably the only Country a cappella group in the USA. They have a very loyal fan base (Home Fries) and love watching people discovering Home Free songs for the first time. Enjoy!
Home Free is positively addictive. The more I hear them, the more I want to hear them. Each extraordinary in their skills. Adam Rupp is next level beat boxer and each of the vocalist's talent is spectacular individually but put them together and it's magic.
They are seasoned professional singers. Yes they lean towards country, but 4 of the 5 members have Bachelor's degrees in Musical Theatre...so they know their stuff ! Check out next their latest, CRAZY a tripute to the late Patsy Cline and her signature song.
Home Free is the best out there!!!! Such talent from these guys. Tim Faust has an Extraordinary vocal range.Got to check that guys out. To be honest you're not gonna find another group like these guys ever!!!!!!
Home Free is an a cappella group consisting of 5 men. Austin is lead singer, next is Rob who sounds similar, then there's Adam Rupp the beat-boxer/sound effects man, then there's Tim Foust the bass singer(a 5 octave singer(G1-G5)) and last is Adam Chance who was doing the background Didgeridoo sound in it.. and is the last man seen...Look at their lips to see what their doing...it helps with these a cappella groups....
They won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013. They are so good. Their beatboxer, Adam, has a video on youtube called Adam Rupp Drum Solo. You should watch that and see how talented he is. He doesn’t do the harmonica on it but the drums, didgeridoo, bugs, all kinds of sounds. He’s amazing. All the guys can sing and beatbox to some degree. The last guy filmed in the video was Chance and he was doing the ‘mouth harp’ sound. Adam did the drums, harmonica and other noises. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing so low but also sing in the tenor range. Good reaction.
It looks like you missed it just like a lot of other reviewers. As deep as Tim was singing in his mid-song solo, as soon as the band rejoined him, he dropped an entire octave. Go back and listen again, except just focus on Tim's voice this time.
I absolutely loved watching your reaction and I went ahead and subscribed because I definitely want to see more of you, you absolutely brightened my day watching your eyes light up
I was familiar with the song Man of Constant Sorrow before. Seems it was written in 1913. So when I stumbled upon Home Free's cover, I was stunned by just how beyond incredible they performed it. Wow!
I also thought it was written in 1913. But now I have found it was published in 1913 in a book of popular folk songs by Dick Burnett. So it appears it was popular and performed before that. Any more info would be appreciated.
Home Free fans identify as home fries alluding to the southern American potato breakfast dish. In their cover of The O'jays song "Soul Train" videos of fans dancing are interspersed . Here is just a few of their enormously popular covers; Boys to Men's End of The Road , Ring of Fire , When a Man Loves a Woman , Mayday , Elvira (ft. The Oak Ridge Boys) , American Pie (ft. Don Mclean) and many , many more. I invite you to enjoy them as we do. THEY NEVER USE INSTRUMENTS!!!!!!!
We sound effects people just - sorta - find out and - sorta - start doing it! Me, when I started imitating the drum beat to the theme tune of Hawaii Five O back in the seventies. Also, dogs and pigeons, owls, harmonicas, clarinets, didgeridoos. All these, plus, TV characters, teachers. Of course, my voice has aged, and some can only be produced with difficulty, but I can still have a 'conversation' with - and puzzle - the occasional pigeon, or dog, imitating them right back. Dogs will usually put their head to one side as much to say WTH? You talkin' to me? In the sixties and seventies we'd be called "The Schoolyard Mike Yarwood" or "Percy Edwards" - the latter I once met and had a fascinating conversation in pigeonese!
This group is astonishing and versatile. Tim the bass and Austin the tenor lead here have their own music channels as well. A fun one is The Butts remix
You look like the shield maiden of Rohan (but prettier). Are you good with a sword? In the movie Lord of the Rings, you slay the worst evil monster ever which no man can kill! But loved your reaction to this wonderful group of guys Home Free. Yes, they swallowed a Harmonica, Drums, and some other things too. lol Enjoyed your video. May God bless you.
Lol the only reactions were to the sounds and not the song. If that's what you like, checkout KRNFX beat boxing with "walk off the earth" and choose a song you like. There's a few
