I’m not sure how, but every time I see. MotorWeek video, it always looks and sounds like it was produced in the 80’s, in the form of a PSA 😂 And I kind of love that.
Don't like that the Q5 still has a tablet style infotainment screen while other models like the Q7 and Q3 has this screen more integrated into the dash.
The performance is good, styling not bad at all, but I love the dashboard layout all the way down to the shifter. That's my favorite part of the car. Audi knows 😎 how to create a sporty cockpit.
Having both Q5 and SQ5 in my household... on the brakes, are you referring to the Q5 vs SQ5? Or SQ5 vs SQ5 S- package? Because the brakes on the Q5 are 4 piston, 338mm rotors, while the SQ5 wears 6 piston, 350mm rotors. Not just a red color change.
This detail about him stating the calipers are painted red, kinda makes me upset cuz reviewer doesn't even bother to do his home work. This is why I don't watch reviews from big outfits like this
A 13.9 @ 101MPH quarter mile is anything but slow. In the 60s my V8, 4 speed, possi Dodge ran 14.2 @ 94MPH. That was fast enough to trash 390 Mustang’s, as well as 327 Camaros. Not slow.
@@ronlheureux7623 it ain't the 60s no more my guy, if you slap a S badge on a Audi it better be able to rip off a quarter in under 13. My old 2010 Audi S4 could do it in 12.9, stock.
@@dudndadn12212 Audi shouldn’t have dropped the supercharger in my opinion. The only engine Audi has worthy of a turbo is the 5cyl in the RS3 and TTRS.
According to who? What was the temperature at the time of the test? What were the track conditions? What was the humidity? Was it a true 0 to 60 or a Car and Driver rolling start? (5-60)
The Sportback decreases usable trunk space capacity so that IMO is a deal breaker. Also I'd like to see the return of the ODD/SD card reader module into the glove compartment, as it's still fully compatible with the MIB3 infotainment system......
The design of the Q5 Sportback (as well as the SQ5 Sportback) looks outright hideous and much more undeserving. North America would've had the Q3 Sportback plus its RS counterpart instead of this. At least the upcoming Q4 e-tron Sportback (possibly its RS counterpart if there happens to be one) would cover for that.
NIce...but I'll stick with my (2020) Corsair Reserve AWD 2.3l (0-100Kph in 5.9) with the elements and technology packages and comparable interior the MSRP of which was $60300.00 (delivery charge in). With the $$ saved I installed the winter tires on the original wheels bought a set of flow formed Fast F4 (20x8.5) wheels for the summer. My very WORST mileage to date has been 9.7l/100Km or 24.3 mpg. Most of the time I average around 8.6-8.7l/100Km. There's only one reason I would not buy it again and that's because it's built in Kentucky and I can't stand Mitch McConnell
Definitely does not compete with the BMW x3 that would be the Q3, this is the equivalent to the X5, just as the X7 is to the Q7. Is this supposed to be car channel?
Speaking from experience? I’m in various Q5 forums I haven’t heard much complaints at all about the SQ5 even the first gen. I have a 15 2.0t with 130k solid as a rock
I think your wrong……our 16’ sq5 with 140k was rock solid reliable. We now have a 22’ sq5 sportback with sport rear differential package. Love it and looks great

Lmfao thank you for putting this into perspective. I couldn’t place it, but that’s it 😂😂
It’s sounds like “lifestyles of the rich and famous” without the accent. Lol

I like that style though. It helps me focus on the road rather than being distracted by looking down.

I was literally thinking the same thing when I heard him say the calipers are just painted red. Wrong information.
My mum has a 2016 sq5 definitely think it’s the best car she’s ever owned
98 feet stopping distance? Wow!
Crazy
Super crazy
And, that short distance could be life-saving, or at least body repair saving.
Imagine the whiplash you’d get from that braking distance.
There was some lock up on the tires. Haven’t seen that on a modern car in a while.
Not enough speakers.....but, still nice.
98 feet stop from 60mph wtf lol
SQ5 vs Q5 HANDLING is there much of a difference?
No
Slow for what it is, but looks really nice.

How did you guys manage such slow times?
You really expect a factory non RS Audi model to be faster?
@@revelare_xvii6269 I have a 2022 SQ5 and easily get 4.6-4.7 0-60... they are not launching it correctly. So yes they did get very slow times

Love this suv y’all really some haters in the comments 😂
4-5 Years of same Power ratings, and over 5 seconds 0-60 at that price range?? No thanks Audi.. (Don't Worry Audi, I'm still keeping my current Audi).
Shit Hondas been putting 200HP in their cars for 20+ years lol
@@johnblaze6269 Touche'!! lol
Is that 5.4 for the S!5 model, seems slow. Audi claims 4.7.
I wonder if this guy talks like this when he is not making videos. "Hey honey, I'm about to take out the traaaasssh!" SMH
0 to 60 is 4.7

Yes it's less space, but better looking and more unique.
@@mediocreman2 Sure it may be a bit better lopking, but that's just another three-minute wonder IMHO.
As the owner of an X4, you’d be surprised at what you can actually carry inside. I’m sometimes shocked myself.
They charge more for the sport back too. Easy 'option' skip to go with the normal suv body.
It's slower than their test of the 2018

Looks like every other crossover out there already. Boring, Overdone, Long in the Tooth.
panoramic non stop sqeaking sunroof

Goes up against BMW X5, not X3🙄🤦♂️
I think the Q5 goes against X3 and the Q5 SB goes against X4
Audi doesn’t make a competitor to the X5. Q5 is smaller and Q7 is bigger.
Wow. Another stupid crossover with a stupid roofline
Wow slow and handling to match … the S4 is so much more then the A4 this is just a let down

I guess parents are dumb? If you have kids then it's a way to have a sporty vehicle while still having room and more practicality
That’s a dumb comment that doesn’t make sense………
