What’s with the fake exhausts manufacturers seem to be into lately? With this Audi if your going to hide the real exhaust then have no tips at the bumper and keep a clean look otherwise make the exhaust exit at the fake tips!
By having the fake look, the exhaust sits back a bit more and can save insurance companies, you and the manufacture more money in minor fenderbenders. Exhausts that getted pushed in can do a lot of damage else where in the drivetrain

The gv 70 3.5 with a lux package is better than the Germans better interior even better looking for 20-30 grand less
@@jecht86 yes but most of them have the exhaust sitting behind the tips just not connected through them, I don’t get having a blanked out tip with the exhaust aiming to the road behind it, might as well leave any tips off
My money would go to Audi but have real exhausts done
Get used one built till 20
17 in Germany with 354 h.p. and be happy. The real exhaust is still there. And it's not Mexican.
My sq5 ‘22 ❤❤❤❤❤Rules
I have the 2022 Audi SQ5 and have real exhaust. The model he's presenting must be a 2021.
isn’t yours a petrol?
it is an option they did not purchase??
Even ‘21 Audis have real exhaust option, mine are real❤
@@Justiceone88 ended up buying a 23 SQ5 with a normal engine -- no diesels in the US
Keep your Porsche.
Audi all the way, shame about the fake exhaust...whyyyy
U can get real, mine are 👍🌹
Macan S easy winner. ✅
No remote start means no buy however. 😞
I've owned both and I would say there very closely matched..the nod goes to what options and road manners you prefer as an individual imo. Enjoy the ride!!
That's the dealbreaker??? Then I guess you'll never own a Porsche.
@@bruceeverett5372 Too late. Owned two.
Audi's interior esp the centre console area is looking its age now .... needs the A8/A6 styling to trickle down tbh
Can’t get past the awful center display on the SQ5. Looks like an afterthought. Very dated. SQ7 has beautiful display. Why not SQ5.
Not even a question……Macan S 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
For me, I have to declare the Audi Q5 the winner. It has almost everything, even though the exhaust pipes are fake, I mean Audi, what are you doing? As for the Posche Macan, Porsche isn't compatible with Android Auto, but only compatible with Apple Carplay which is bogus.
Just got our 2nd hand Sq5 today and for me the fake exhausts didn't bother me in the slightest. Anyone who's had a quad exhaust car knows that they look lovely when there clean but after 1000s of miles they become a ache to clean even with wire wool,Polish or whatever. Chrome plated plastic will always look good.
If you don't want fake exhausts and if you want compatibility with Apple Carplay and Android Auto of a German compact luxury crossover SUV, try the BMW X3. BMW now often puts real exhausts in the fake surrounds of the pipes.
The porsche still uses the old Q5 platform….
Which one of those has less oil leaks ? I know 6 cylinders porsche has a lot of those problems due very bad quality on screws. and since is the same engine well...
That Porsche is going up against a watered down SQ5. They became slower in 2018 and gradually been made cheaper with fake exhausts and LED speedometer, less HP, and cheaper less functional interior.
You can’t make up how cheesy it is to have fake exhaust pipes. Why, seems like an odd corner to cut
Comparing a petrol to a diesel car it’s like comparing apples to oranges.
I love Porsche macan.
I'm sorry, but how comes that "professional" starts to compare diesel and petrol cars of the same platform and different price and maintenance tag? What to compare?
Owing myself SQ5 354h.p. petrol and not going to compare. Just happy, just enough. But - it's matter of taste.
You can’t say “shame on you Audi”. That won’t bother them. You have to say “that’s pathetic”
Macan S all day, every day
who would choose aUDi OVER porsche??....lol
We did...but we first bought an AMG Glc43 and now the SQ5 don't let this review fool you though...if you drove all three back to back you would only see very small differences and that's even with us having the Macan turbo. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Porsche fan and own a 911 4S also...but I was pleasantly surprised when my wife said she wanted to try Amg and now the SQ5. I'm not such a brand snob anymore lol. Enjoy the ride!
@@lorenmorgan2010 I think most would not agree about a level of snobbery that includes Porsche, AMG and Audi. Probably a high income level. Not a down-to-Earth kind of list!
❤my Audi
Obviously you haven’t driven a Porsche or Audi
90k's - 100k's per hour on the road up to the Cross in Mount Macedon is a bit of a shit thing to do, Its not a race track FFS.
Ese Refri lleva con las etiquetas varios meses
Is this guy drinking coolant at 3:21
2:24 - WHAT did you say?????
Fake exhausts! Enough said! Work harder and buy a car without fakery!
In other words the Audi provides quite better vehicle and value while the Porsche is sportier, as expected. In my opinion Porsche should improve their nonsense features shortcomings.
@@omnicognatesnr5947 I have a Q5 and an X7, have looked into Porsches several times, and even being able to afford a Macan or Cayenne couldn’t justify it to myself. It drives very well indeed, and would go for it if Porsche improved the quality and offered packages making the waiting list much shorter. Most likely Porsche is happy with the status quo.
@@omnicognatesnr5947 You explain why Porsche is so ridiculous with their pricing. They absolutely bend you over the barrel for their vehicles and still can't make them fast enough. I detest how much they cost but you don't walk into a Porsche showroom looking for good value.
Terrible review. The Porsche Macan S blows Audi SQ5 out of the water. Just look at the integrated info screen compared to the awful stick on screen from the Audi. The handling and drive is much sportier with the Porsche. Audi has the advantage in space and price but the Audi is dated and those fake exhaust tips are an abomination at this price point.
Audi thought that deceiving their customers is the best to offer in addition to their unreliable cars. Lmao.
Agree the Porsche's backseats are the only draw back. Otherwise it ticks all the boxes.
Thank god I have no adults to put back there 😁
3rd iteration of the VAG V6 3.0 TDi, junk. Very costly to upkeep when miles build up a little.
Welcome to Thailand.

I'll wait for a Chinese clone made in Australia's backyard, the Solomon Islands.
Almost fell asleep listening to this guy
wouldn't buy the Audi just because of the fake exhaust pipes. That is just pathetic
Lol what SQ5 diesel?
Honestly, at those eye watering prices, both are boring 🥱
IDK where he got those prices, maybe it's Australian dollars or something? I just checked the prices out for new 2022 SQ5 & Macan S's & you can get them for $65-70 (with $70k being pretty well loaded!).
I have NO idea what those prices were about...
@@kde5fan737 yes they are AUD pricing. Prices for luxury cars is Australia sucks big time!
They are same totally same
Clearly bribed by Audi, bends his neck in Audi and says good headroom and tries to stand up in Porsche and complains. Get this weasel off RUclips lol
carwow copycat?
The Audi was better in nearly every way, so you pick the one most fun to drive. Makes sense…
The Audi is literally the cheaper version. Marketed towards people who value flash over function. Porsche is superior in literally every way except for maybe MPG
The Audi sucks that’s why I have a Macan s and a 992 911d
audis center display looks so ugly
I’m on team Porsche Aud sucks
Sorry if u are using pzero u dont no nothing about performing cars go back to school please
