    This locomotive was beautiful, even more because it does not need electricity for its operation, congratulations!

  • @AppleManiagaming
    @AppleManiagaming 3 года назад +7

    This would work better if you weren't using a belt to transfer rotation from the engine, the engine moves too fast for the band to gain enough traction otherwise the thing would fly.

    • @redpandadrooper
      @redpandadrooper 3 года назад +1

      What are some ways to transfer the rotation then?

    • @AppleManiagaming
      @AppleManiagaming 3 года назад +2

      @@redpandadrooper Gear+chain like on a bicycle, Or using a band with teeth like they do on some motorbikes, otherwise you could use gears and a worm drive. Basically anything that doesn't lose friction at high speed.

    • @kmkcopkiller
      @kmkcopkiller 2 года назад +1

      Or even just tighter tension. I also think him using a differential made it slower if he did direct drive then it would fly. Look up the the rocket l1. Its a stirling powered gauge 1 locomotive. Im thinking of building one myself though. And I bet running on track vs cardboard would make things easier

    • @AppleManiagaming
      @AppleManiagaming 2 года назад
