I see tons of guys on the forums running the 2.25 summit level kit with true 35x12.5 and a -12 offset wheel on the AEV Bison edition with no rubbing - you agree there? Just received my level kit and wondering if I need to run 35x11.5 with that -12 offset but 12.5 strongly preferred. Appreciate the info and great video!
Here's what i don't understand. Why change the block on a Sierra AT4x when they already come with a 1" block from factory? The summit kit has the 1" peak block, but it doesn't seem necessary. what am i missing? I purchased this kit recenlty but it seems i purchased the block for no reason.
We provide a 1” lift block, meaning it’s 1” taller than the factory block. The factory block is a 2” block. If you don’t utilize the block it won’t sit level at the 2.25” lift height
I'm going to be running the AT4X with the peak 2.25 summit Kit - stock wheel. This makes me feel better about fitting the 305/70-18 (12" wide / 34.84" tall) Territory MT tire if your fitting a 12.50 wide with basically stock offset and very minimal trimming.
I have the same setup as @NickDedic but I found the 305/70/18 rubbed on the upper A arm with the AEV wheels. I added 1/2 inch spacers to clear along with longer wheel studs. That makes the rubbing at the back edge a little worse and I had to remove some metal brackets and tuck the fender liner back. Also trimmed most of the splash guard off. It was worth all of the effort, it looks great.
@@travass100 Just got mine done, I’m running a 2020 AT4 with the GM DSSV kit, rear leafs etc. Identical to a 2022+ AT4X/ZR2 suspension. With the peak 2.25 kit I’m running stock at4x wheels 18x8.5 with a 1” spacer and the 305/70-18 Territory MT tires clear fine. I had to do the normal trimming only to front bumper plastic and the rear I trimmed the liner and mudflap. Does not rub.

Can the auto 4wd be used with the Peak 2in kit or will there be vibration? I have seen other kits saying you will have vibration in 4wd when leveling a ZR2 or AT4X

@@nyquillisdillwad2824 our leveling kits and 2 piece spacer lift don't cause any issues. If you're referring to wheel spacers, the further out you go the worse it will rub.
You will, the suspension isn't any different on the ZR2 Bison. Trimming will be little to none because of the aftermarket bumper however you still have to contend with the cab side. All the suspension kits we recommended work on the ZR2 Bison as well as AT4X AEV Edition
So with the 2 piece 2.5 level kit and Dirt king ball joint control arms there isn't any contact between the shock spring and upper control arm at full droop?
I have a 2023 on a 4” ready lift and I want to run 35 on a 22 wheel is there a lot of cutting I have to do for this? And will a negative offset mess up the 4 wheel drive ?
Sick Silverado ZR2! Full size is tempting...

What are you guys doing about ECM/TCM tuning for tire size from 33”-37” for trans shifting etc?
Unfortunately there's not much you can do. For the time being, we know the true mph but as far as driveability, there's almost zero change.

We haven't tested to confirm. I would imagine it will require additional trimming on the cab side

I wonder if a 35/11.5 with the stock wheel would work? I like the stock wheel look.
