Subbed, why? Because you actually do true 1D builds, so many of them always have zero XP cos they never show you how many times they died just to try get that perfect run to show it off! May look into this, as I do want a glad, but my other half runs bleed glad, so I can't pair that up with her.
It's just weird to record many map runs until i get deahtless one with title "OMG THIS BUILD FARM T17 DEATHLESS". But to be fair, at higher budget this build becomes fairly tanky to run T17 deathless, as long as there no crazy mods, or just stuff that kills this build like "cannot block" or reduced chance to block, phys reflect, no leech. No regen is doable but clunky. Also couple things: - In this video i didn't run Berserk but i should, gloves provide chance to gain full rage, which makes Berserk last longer. If you want to level. - Abyssus seems fine for leveling in T16, but for T17 its better be some beefy helmet with high armour, life and implicits like "phys taken as" and "reduced manacost of attacks". If you don't care about exp, just run Abyssus always. - Quality on Double Strike is huge, 1% double damage per 1% quality. Vaal double strike with lvl1 20% quality is like 10-15c, so buy it from start and it will save you money on buying leveled one that is close to 1d. - For leveling you go ground slam, then you can reach Tribal Fury (Splash damage and +1 target mastery) as soon as level 12, then you can slap double strike in with Screaming Eagle axes.

I have an 87 slayer I'm changing over at the moment, so not quite full passives I need for it so I'm having to drop a few stuff like a jewel slot here and there. Just buying my gear atm, gonna see what it's like with around 5D (would be like 1d most for crafters lol). I'm just in the mid of getting a chest and helm with some int on it hopefully so I can slot the boots in as I'm 40 short on that atm after taking the +30 int node.
@@Kit-G Early you might not need int at all, if you not use enlighten or high level automation support. Automation just seems to have better chances to proc just in time, while cwdt proc after you already took damage. For gear, start with body armour crafting, as depending on what resist you get on it, you will buy rings with other resists needed, as well as less resists will be needed on helmet/boots which will safe some money. Don't have to be Royal Plate as its 110c+ for 6l base. Second best Legion Plate is 10-20c for 6l. Then buy few Dense fossils and resonators, like 10 at once, throw them at that armor to get high flat and % armor with no life, or life regen. Stop if you hit either high armour, like 3500+ with resists and perfectly open suffix, or lets say high flat armor with good resists and open prefix to craft %armor. Then should be rings, as its cheapest slot to get tons of resists, set price limit to like 10-20c or so, search for as much ele and chaos res with some life. Then belt, same stats as rings. Then helmet with high armour and life, and remaining needed resists. And lastly boots, also high armour, life, movespeed and if needed resists. Damn i just cant reply without writing wall of text xD
@@PaintMasterPoE It was more for the boots you had listed, they had a high int requirement. Just tested the build in a white T16 map with only a 20/20 double double strike gem as a levelled one. Went pretty well. Just gotta roll some bleed flasks as 2.2K HP currently lol.

Cool build, do you think it is worth it to invest some points into the rage wheel by the Savage Intensity in order to grab the mastery "Nearby enemies are intimidated while you have rage" to free the belt slot, or maybe switch out the 7 max rage mastery for the intimidate one? I'm not sure which would be better since I haven't played much melee and haven't tried out the rage changes yet
With higher level and a bit more currency can do all of that. With different belt its better to grab intimidate aura for around 10% more dps, compare to 7 rage that give 6% more dps. Im currently cooking higher budget version, i got corrupted axe with fortify implicit, then replaced fortify gem with awakened melee damage that has intimidate on hit, so 7 rage can stay.
@@AmberGGer I leveled gladiator on hc ssf ruthless. Cleave or whatever aoe thing first, then rush to Tribal Fury with mastery and swap to double strike.
In config tab check "have you blocked recently", then it counts "Lucky block" from ascendancy, that cause block to roll twice on each hit and choose better outcome.

@xenvakt300995 This axe works best with skills that strike with both weapons at once, there's few, but with axe you limited to double strike and cleave or cleave of rage.

And its nowhere as crazy as Warden can get with 300% more damage from ascendancy with 100% shock, -60% from scorch, tinctures, etc. While gladiator has lucky block, that can be obtained with Svalinn shield, and explodes which is good but nothing crazy.
@@PaintMasterPoE i mean... there's a reason warden is sitting at just above average play across all modes, meanwhile gladiator is only not dominant in softcore trade, where its top 3. every other mode is glad leading in playrate by alot. I don't think hardcore leagues are anywhere near as kneejerk as softcore for flavor of the month stuff, but the fact its taken over HC AND SSF AND ruthless, this is probably the most dominant one class has ever been in PoE history. in SSF softcore, glad is literally over twice as played as the #2 slot, 27% vs 13% heirophant. to be clear, i think warden needs changes too, as its damage is way outside the norm for a class, and their freeze node is straight up broken at every level of the game.

Those two things happened in same league, so thats expected that gladiator is in top finally, especially knowing that majority of players are casuals, and how easy it is to gear gladiator, not about cost, but simplicity of gear. After years being literally on opposite side at 0.5 to 2%, Gladiator is finally good for once. If nerf going to happen, its probably separately on ruthless, and maybe explode ascendancy nerf on bench league. Same story was with pathfinder with buffs in 3.21, how everyone was saying that its OP af (and it is kinda), with wither on hit, with magic flask effect and perma life flask. But then people played it a lot in 3.21-3.23, then in 3.24 it was at 6%, now in 3.25 its only at 3%, while pathfinder wasn't changed, and still just as strong. Same thing going to happen with gladiator, while its surely tanky, dps is just as low as before.
