Someone posted here on the VA panel but deleted it. So here's some advice. VA has better contrast. Because you can get a brighter image and still good contrast . If you put it too low, you get a bleeding effect or smearing and pixelation. If it's set up wrong or it's a cheap , nothing can fix it. It may even be damaged if it didn't do it the first time.

Oh my God, thank you so much. I was about to reinstall windows because none these other fixes were working. My 3090 was getting horrible frame rates, stuttering, game characters glitching and frametime graphs that looked like a bad lie detector test.
Tried this last night on my buddy's PC at a LAN party. He was getting pretty constant framerate stutter in Battlebit and Diablo 4. This fixed the issue entirely!

Holy crap man why is this video not posted everywhere, I have a 6950xt and a 5800x3d and I had terrible stutters playing some games every 3 seconds. I new it wasn't my hardware.. I can run any game on ultra, this worked! And my gpu is also running 10 degrees cooler? Amazing thanks

The funny thing I am not a gamer at all, but i had to have stuttering in movies, so disabling MPO helped me getting a smooth experience when watching movies again and this happened with VA but not with IPS

I have tested 3 different 6800XT on my rig. Two of them have the flickering, driver errors, chrome/edge steam flickers/brightness problems, white horizontal flickering line,.... nearly everything that is reported on the support forums from people with MPO problems my cards showed as well. One didn''t. Neither does my RX 580 have these issues. So it definitely is a hardware problem as well.
The MPO registry tweak reduces these problems, but doesn''t get entirely get rid of it. Good thing i live in the EU and if a card is faulty I can just send it back.

That’s true, what also helps is a custom windows install, it’s bloat free and you don’t have telemetry and other nonsense in the background

Do you think it will affect gaming performance on DX12 games that dont have Exclusive Fullscreen option at all. Im assuming that disabling it will affect performance poorly on all DX12 games that dont have Exclusive fullscreen option because MPO makes DX12 games work with the same performance in Exclusive borderless as in normally with Exclusive fullscreen games. So i personally wouldnt disable it because they will fix the stutter in upcoming driver updates anyways. But i will be doing some benchmarking with MPO on or off with The Last Of Us Part 1 tomorrow because some people are complaining about performance issues in the game. Ps. I personally havent got any stutter issues in any hames or apps at all, im just all about maximizing the performance on my pc :D

I'm not going to hold my breath for a fix for desktop stuttering in windows 10 as it seems built into the system and I have to restart my PC once every few hours to get it smooth again ever since I was forced to install it.

OK, thank you SO much for this. I experienced stuttering with something as banal as watching youtube while using Facebook(and sometimes even just RUclips), and editing registry really helped.
P.S. Also for some reason, it fixed the audio levels on my pc.

-OMG, i think this FIXED my issue of glitching!!! Video from browser or video player or gaming, would stutter for a split second to a second... audio too... just really annoying, ever since i installed a new graphics card or since the 3rd last NVIDIA driver....Anyway, nothing seemed to help, until this... I just finished watching a video where i would have expected it to happen at least 3 times...Going to try gaming now!- Spoke too soon... glitching is back 🤬

I have had random black screen crashes. Found out that disabling Surface Format Optimization has made them less often (Radeon - Gaming - Global - Graphics - Advanced - Surface Format Optimization)

it works wonders. for example when ever i open up my settings menu it would bug out and now it doesn't do it anymore so i know that the regedit tweak worked in terms of latency

Tested on i5 8400, 1060 6gb, 24 gb ram, played battlefield 2049 and frames are worse than before. So this tweak on my system, game works worse, more stuttery. Also i use up to date windows and drivers.

hi, can i know what i can do to solve my problem? so basically i have this fridge in my room and whenever the cooler in the fridge turns on or off my screen goes black and comes back after around 2 seconds. what do u think i shuld do? im thinking that the fridge might be sucking out more power when the cooler inside shuts down or on. the fridge is powered using the same multi plug. please let me know thanks
dude, never plug a high consumer like a fridge in the same power outlet!! your pc must be on a separate power plug!

I wouldn't have much faith that that game is going to have any particular tweaks to help it, It was made for the PlayStation 3 which has such a wildly unique architecture. it took them this long. no doubt just to get it functional as a PC port. poorly optimized as an understatement

@@Panjno In the previous video, you've suggested to use integer scaling with the OLED display. I don't have OLED, but wanted to try Integer Scaling myself. Is there any way to get that specific scaling to fully display on the monitor or does it come with the downside of black bars?
@@tutorgamesOG So if you have integer scaling enabled and set to GPU scaling you are good to go. When selecting a lower resolution you MUST select resolutions that can be equally scaled to your native res, these will then be Fullscreen on your display
Examples:
1080p monitor use: 540p
1440p monitor use: 720p
2160p monitor use: 1080p, 720p

Holy fukin sht, Ive been struggling a lot with my 4090 past two days, games have been crashing time to time even at 55C at full load, there was nothing wrong except crashes like I said and minor flickering and shadows not rendering at high distance - this completly fixed my issue and It seems the overal clarity is so much better

Im using hdmi 2.1 cable that came with the monitor. I turned off HDR and calibrated the monitor with windows and also ensured 12-bit color is enabled. Running at 240 hz
Yes. Use 8bit 444. This forces Windows to use dithering. Take LG out of PC mode, use Game Optimizer input on regular HDMI Input or Game Console Name, doesn't matter and turn off GSync in Nvidia Control Panel. Set it to fixed refresh rate and use VSync to remove screen tearing. (this allows you to use the Smooth Gradient feature under Clarity in LG settings) If you can use 422 10bit that is the best but I can't get my 3080ti to do it. I think Nvidia removed the 422 feature for LG TVs sometime in early 2022 in a Driver update.
My SDR settings for Windows are (I used a I1displayPro and Calman)
OLED Brightness 40 makes it about 200 nits, 30 is about 150
Contrast 80
Brightness 50-52 if too dark
Gamma 2.2
Color 55
White Balance Warm 50-40 if it's too Warm
Sharpness12 (counters minor blur from Smooth Gradation)
Super Resolution,Noise and MPEG off
Smooth Gradation High

I have a problem and Im so confused how to fix it if anyone can help me,
Basically my pc is fine visually and audibly until around 20-30 mins later, it starts stuttering and it stutters literally every 0.5 seconds and my audio also stutters, like it’s slowing it down,
If I then change the audio output to a different headset, then back to my original one the stutter is fixed, but then will come back around 15 mins later and I have to do the same again,
I’ve tried so many fix videos and I just have no idea so please if anyone knows how to :)
