ahh. brings back memories of playing OFP:CWC for the first time in 2006 on my shitty toaster lmao, but my god the fun i had with the editor and single player missions was what got me hooked into this franchise.

Yeah i miss the old OFP campaigns. CWC, Red Hammer & Resistance. New campaigns never been as good IMO.
OFP campaings + Red Hammer and Resistance have been modded by the fans to all 3 ARMA games....(I personally prefer ARMA 2 Cold War Rearmed mod as graphics wise it looks more "true" to the original game, ARMA 3 quite doesnt)
Ofc they are not quite as polished as "official" remake would be, and there are lots of bugs here and there, but overall they are perfectly playable if you want to experience good old OFP campaings with better graphics :)
Now if only Bohemia could do another PROPER singleplayer campaign for ARMA 4 like that......the singleplayer content has gotten worse and worse with each new ARMA game, if you ask me =/...
But I know that from their perspective it likely isnt that important and ofc for original OFP and its expansions they had Codemaster behind them as publisher to cover some of the costs so they could create those well designed campaings

The memories of playing Op Flashpoint for the first time just came flooding back
Sure did for me too. What a classic game! OFP Was such an amazing experience back in the day. First game i remember playing with huge open world and total freedom. Don't think i'll ever get that feeling again i had when experiencing OFP for the first time. All my friends hated OFP. They just didn't understand how amazing it was n thought i was crazy for liking it.
"All, form line! All, move to bush 11 o'clock! Contact! 3, engage soldier 2 o'clock! 11 o'clock missile soldier, 100!" Brings me a shitload of good memories and good times I've had as a teenager with the whole OPF franchise... ^^

I have over 1600 hours of play on ARMA 3 and more than 10 years since the first releases. Seeing all these people working around this game I now understand why. A great respect to all of you, the creators and the actors, thank you for the pleasure that you bring me since all this time.

Best OST in videogames hands down. Best since 2001 when I first played the Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis original campaign. Even these days i'm listening the original soundtracks while playing other games. OFP is in my heart forever

I really wish so well! Heck I would pay anything for them to remake the campaings officially for ARMA 4!....
I mean the campaings of the original + Red Hammer and Resistance HAVE been remade by fans as mods to all 3 of the ARMA games (I personally prefer ARMA 2 Cold War Rearmed mod), but ofcourse there are lots of bugs there as you might expect from fan made mod, nothing really gamebreaking, but especially in some of the cutscenes you can see that they were not made by "professionals" :D
Anyhow glad to see fans of original OFP still out there! :) If they ever remade the campaings with co-op possibility, I would be really happy to play them with other Flashpoint fans!

Man the tension I felt while playing campaign for the first time was like it's really a war going on around me & some bullet will hit me from somewhere.
This is papabear to all units, " the last evac from everon is at 5,45 hrs , this radio signal scared the shit out of me , then later I calm myself it's just a game & I can restart again😂😂
2001, I was 16 and discovered my all time favourite game/sim. I’m 34 now and still hooked on the series and hoping I’m blessed with many more years with this phenomenal franchise 👍

Man OFP was one of my first PC games back in 2001, the first game i learned how to mod & create 3d addons for and to create machinimas in.
The game has always been installed on every of my computers since 2001.
Fantastic game & big part of my teenage & adult years. Thanks Bohemia Interactive!

Christmas holidays 2000. First lan OFP game, 2 players. One cooperative mission, we have to rescue 3 prisoners in a village. A truck is coming, i have a M16 mortar. We got panicked and i launched mortar. Truck is history along with prisoners!!! A, great times!!!!
