Love the video! The third fish you caught is a whiting, otherwise known as a “sea mullet” or Virginia mullet. Really good eating, and a lot of fun on light tackle.
If you ever go to Amelia island again and you want to go on a charter boat, I’d suggest gonna miss her charter. A full day is 8 hours, very fun experience especially going to the ocean for the first time being from Minnesota
Love the vid man! I’ve never shark fished so I can’t say too much, but I saw the hook in the corner of its mouth. If I had pliers I would have tried to get it out. But that’s just me lol keep up the good work!
Hooks will rust out but if your not experienced with handling sharks it’s easier to get bit by the smaller ones then you might think. There all muscle which makes them very flexible, they can reach around and grab there own tail if they wanted too.
Thanks for rubbin the weather in our Delaware noses...LOL....Nice job with jetty and surf fishing.....looks like you caught a Gulf Kingcroaker at the end of the video...croakers are good eating !!!
@@302FISHING makes sense. Delaware fisherman don’t know their species, at least not like someone from the east coast of Florida does, also known as the best coast of fishing in the world
U r killing it brother thanks for sharing your trip with us back home in Delaware but I hope you have a great Christmas with your family till next time stay safe
Next time. Go past the entrance to that park. Right before you hit the bridge, go to the right and go under the bridge. That little kayak launch and jetty is packed with fish.
Excellent video, sir! (But this ol' guy from 19808 is *VERY* jealous today to see your tanned-legs . . . and pearly-white, DE-feet! Especially in DECEMBER!) Please, keep up your good work - as well as continuing to make Delaware anglers especially proud of ALL your accomplishments, no matter where you happen to cast your line next !! . . . R.T.
I love FL,lived her my whole life!! Fishing the jetties are awesome there are so many different species.if you wanna catch 45inch reds use a cast net and catch finger mullet or mud minnows AND HOOK THEM UP IN THE FACE.If you wanna catch Big black drum use blue crab or soft shell crab and cut them into quarters. You can get them at fisherman's dock or a fresh seafood store. GOD BLESS YOU.
Bro! Please use a jerk minnow soft plastic with the bottom jig... I'm sure you will catch some nice fish. I primarily use lures and fish in South Africa. I have manged to land 54 different saltwater species on lure!!! Just yesterday, I caught a venomous Scorpionfish on the same rig that I suggested... Alot of the fish on my RUclips fishing channel have been caught with it!!! If you get good results, please give me a shout out!!! 🙏
Bro my family lives there, and I fish there all the time when I get the chance! You should check out St. Augustine and Huguenot Park while you're there!
i have one question. i suck at finding spots in my area for bass.is there anyway u can find some creeks with bass in Roseville? it's my vacation home and I try and find spots there but never can. thx so much
Keep doin what your doing brother you living it up and if you love it at this point there is no stopping the bluegills buffet still rock the shirt Mike loving the content from cold south Jersey I need Florida right now😄🤙🏻👍🏻
Last time I went to the beach I caught 12 stingray on accident fishing from the bank at the beach house I don’t know if it’s illegal to catch them cause I really only fish fresh water
Florida day 2! 🌴🔥 How are yall liking the vids so far?
Insane try fishing new port Richey bridges with live shrimp
Keep them coming man 👌👌
We need more content with the one and only ktbtv but the content by its self is 🔥🔥🔥
Oh snap! I know exactly where you are!!! Hopefully I run into you before you leave. My buddy goes shark fishing near there.
I think you need to do some forida man stuff
Love the video! The third fish you caught is a whiting, otherwise known as a “sea mullet” or Virginia mullet. Really good eating, and a lot of fun on light tackle.

@@randy-pf5du whiting and croaker are 2 different fish

Ha! I bet that water wasn't any colder than Delaware beaches in early June. Looks like a great spot!

You try doing that and if you do say goodbye to your hand
Should watch the video again closer. The hook was not visible outside of it's mouth that was the leader line showing.
@@castortroy394 I mean yeah, that’s pretty clear.
@@rmorris75252 hey that wasn't a jab at you. Your comment was right on point.
If you’re wanting to catch speckled trout, you need to come fish the marshes in Louisiana from October-December.
Idkkk abt that bro
U come to crystal river or steinhatchee and get a 30+ in. Gator
He's just not in the right spot
Thanks for rubbin the weather in our Delaware noses...LOL....Nice job with jetty and surf fishing.....looks like you caught a Gulf Kingcroaker at the end of the video...croakers are good eating !!!
Pog
Hey guys you're wrong guy. Its not a gulf king croaker. For someone that fishes so much you sure don't know your fish.
@@jimstimberservice4665 I said looks like...which infers I may not know...I'm in Delaware so I was guessing...what is the species?
@@302FISHING makes sense. Delaware fisherman don’t know their species, at least not like someone from the east coast of Florida does, also known as the best coast of fishing in the world
I want to visit florida so badly. Urban texas nature gets a little boring sometimes but we have freakishly big catfish and bass
The shark looked like a Sandbar Shark. I caught 2 when I was fishing from the beach in the Outer Banks several years ago.
U r killing it brother thanks for sharing your trip with us back home in Delaware but I hope you have a great Christmas with your family till next time stay safe
Yup that’s a whiting, same family as a red. They are tasty as well!! Catch and cook those bad boys!!
You should definitely hit up Destin and kayak around the docks in the harbor
Your my fav fisherman on RUclips I love watching your videos 🔥🔥🔥
I found this channel randomly; it is really a channel that produces quality content. Congratulations
You could’ve easily gotten that hook out of the shark’s mouth brother, thats a minus. Otherwise great video man, keep it up 🔥
I love the way you fade music in when you catch a fish
The fish that you thought that was red fish. That is a croaker and the taste wonderfull
The fish from the beach is indeed a Whiting, and they are delish!!!! That's the one you should keep for a C&C.
I think the shark you caught was an Atlantic sharpnose shark
Love these videos!! Awesome video!! 🔥🔥

Third fish is a whiting. It’s the southern version of the northern king fish you are used to catching in Delaware
Awesome Vid!!! You should try using a popping cork with live shrimp under it!! That always works!!
Yup. I left the same comment

Filmed a few videos on those jetties myself. Tough fishing and the A shifty walk for sure but it is a solid shore fishing spot.
You should do a blackened red fish catch and cook, you keep getting nice slot reds like that!
Put a bead on the swivel, on the lead side to protect the knot
Love your vids
Dude if that little shark was working you like that your drags set to lose. Grate video though can't wait to see more!

I went here on a fishing vacation this is Amelia Island at Fort Clench State Park.
Fish those shrimp under a float with a kahle style hook. Thats the ticket my man .
First fish that cut you off might have been a Bluefish. Every time im out on the jetties they get my leader a time or two
SAND shark...tons of them in Delaware too.
That’s a sharpnose shark-that is about as big as they get
Ayy I’m going ice fishing soon in Clear Lake, IA

You should try to go catch mud crab I never don't it but it's s must
What did you mean by you miss camper you get rid of him ?
right on, sweet fish catches!
That first bite tho
Learn your sharks, most are delicious!!!
I believe the shark you caught was an Atlantic Sharpnose. Atlantic Sharpnoses don’t get too big, so you probably could have eaten it.
😁😎💪💪🤜🤛🙏🤙🔥 I cant wait to catch a shark
Great job man!🇱🇺
How do you like that rod and reel just got one for Xmas 🤙🏽

flush the crabs with fresh sea water daily, just scoop some in , then drain most of it back out.
