- Reuben Klamer's life was full. He helped save the world in World War II, and created playthings that have entertained countless kids across generations. Inspired by Milton Bradley's first game, The Checkered Game of Life, Reuben designed a game for the 100th birthday of the Milton Bradley Company. This is The Game of Life Edition of Where's the Fun from? (WTFF)

I loved this! Ruben lived next door to my mom and I was lucky enough to spend time with him over the past several years. What a gem he was! He’ll be deeply missed, but will live on through The Game of Life and his many other fun inventions.
Oh Monique, thanks. It means so much that someone who knew Reuben loves this tribute. 🙏🏼
Wow! I think this is my favorite one in your amazing series, Tim, and that is saying a lot! Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks Mary
That was great! Life was my fave game.
Thanks Lisa, and thanks much for subscribing! Welcome.
This was a fantastic look at the global impact of two men instrumental in the creation of The Game of Life. Thank you, Tim for this video. I really enjoyed learning about this game that my siblings and I enjoyed as kids and now my grandkids play.
Thank you, Mary Kay! #generaltionalplay
I love playing this game (the original 1960 version) as it is so much fun and has a lot of choices to make. Great channel here ❤️
Thanks Chad
Thanks for that recap.
Youknowit, hidline02!
@@SeizethePlay Reuben was my great Uncle Ruby. I already knew most of this, but there were some new tidbits I didn't know it had forgotten!
@@hidline02 Wow, it means more to me that you enjoyed the video! Thank you.
I feel so bad for Klamer’s family right now. I’m sorry he died. R.I.P. Reuben Klamer. 🪦
Amen. What a LIFE!
@@SeizethePlay Hey,Tim. It’s me again. I have another request for a video. Please try Stretch Armstrong. That would be great.
@@mtvmemphistelevision142 Hey! He's on the list! : )
Hey Tim, I really enjoy random historical facts and learning the origins of just about anything. I don’t know how your process goes, it seems to be mostly “game” focused. Would you consider dipping into video games? Maybe arcade history or video-game board-game adaptations. I just want to throw it out there but the idea of “where the funs from” linked to either older video games or even modern video games. It might reach a broader audience than just people like me who seek out random facts.
Hey Dylan, thanks for reaching out. All my research has been in traditional playthings, so I don't have a great knowledge base on video games, to be honest, but I say, "never say never." The Toy Hall of Fame at the Strong Museum in Rochester, NY has made a big push to chronicle video games and they would be a great resource for me, should I tackle something like that. Thanks for the suggestion!
I love this!
I love that you love it. “That’s Life!” Frank Sinatra
