Hi everybody. First of all I have to apologise for not been there when this spotlight came out, I was so busy I missed it, so sorry. I have to say HUGE THANK to Channel5 Gaming that you did this spolight of my park, I feel really honored. It looks so good with your new settings ! Wow ! the 4k is increadible !! And I love the way you do your spotlights, like visiting a real park ! I really feel truly honored. Now if you agree, I will answer some questions you ask in the video (and some followers did in the comments) :
    - My park is like my little dream world, whenever I feel bad or depressed, I come here and relax, like some people do with there little train world.
    - Actually, it didn't take me 7 years to build, I built it for 2-3 years after the game came out, slowly when I had time, and then my PC wasn't able to handle it anymore, so I stopped working on it for 4-5 years, until I got my new PC spring 2023, I could play it again and add the latest area.
    - I say it's unfinised because I still have many ideas for future improvements, but I don't know if I'll be able to find time, so I was thinking "why not share it in its current state, it might be enough to interest some people", and maybe the best Planet Coaster RUclipsr I've followed (which is without doubt Channel5 Gaming). But I've seen so many good parks brillantly spotlighted on your channel, I wasn't sure my park would match them and I was extremely positively surprised you liked it and even spotlighted it. Again thank you so much !!
    - The monorail is indeed not finished. Actually it's a subway/monorail system (there's an underground station under the main entrance) that will circle the park in the future.
    - The EW Express was added in season 1 where it did circle the park, but then the park grew around and now it only brings the visitors to the lake.
    - Why Matterhorn "Express" ? Because that building was supposed to be a station for the EW Express, until the plans got changed. A coaster was built but the building stayed and also part of its name.
    - The music you hear in the EW History Center is indeed from one of the trailers. My own music written especially for my park. Orbit should also have a custom music made by me, but I recently submitted it to a real park so I had to take it away from the game 😉
And Channel5 Gaming, you're right. We're all lucky you're here and cover the amazing creations the community does. Thank you so much for your work ! YOU are amazing, not me ;-) And thanks to the followers for your nice and interesting comments so far, thank you very much 🙂

Dude! All I can say is WOW. I am new to this game. Long time player of city skylines. Games like this are hard to call video games, and I mean that is the most positive way.
I am not very good with drawing so when I want to make something beautiful I will turn to city skyline. I just recently found coaster planet on the PS5. I have played it now for about ten hours so I am still learning just the very basics to what the game has to offer. So I started looking up RUclips videos. This was the first one I saw. I was blown away at the level of detail you committed here. I too am reminded of train set enthusiast when I saw your park. Bravo.
I hope you’re doing well and you find time to get back to building theme parks. Thank you for your time, energy, and for this true work of art

Some builders can build parks in record speed, and some some builders take their time because it's their passion project.. and this park is definitely someone's passion project. And you can definitely tell.. the amount of work and attention to detail sets these "works of passion" apart from other big parks! Very, very well done!! Top quality!! Thanks for sharing ❤

Unfinished has a slighty different meaning to Theme Park fans compared to other forms of media. No Theme Park is considered finished until the day it closes (and even then sometims the story continues). They change with the seasons as well as with the years.
I suspect that is what the creator meant by Unfinished. They probably intend to keep playing with this park for years to come, even if its current state can be considered complete.
There's a lot of great nods in hear to real European parks. It's really well done!

    • @BrottenGuy

Just like any work of art. As a Graphic Designer, who went they art school…I can tell you, we also say “An artwork is never completed.” Sometimes followed by “The Artist just decides one day it’s finally just ‘good enough’ & enough is enough.”
And it’s so true. I still have probably 70-80% of the artworks I’ve EVER done, stuck in my head…and in my head, they will NEVER be completed.
It’s almost a craptastic way to live sometimes. Lol!

I just got into the game & am a professional artist (which is kind of a detriment. Lol! I’m too much of a perfectionist). I’m addicted to terrain sculpting and painting right now. Lol!
But, I’m also a lifelong amusement park fanatic. Can’t wait to start on this! Realism is also just my thing.
My computer just can’t handle all of this. I have a Mac, so I can’t get the Back to the Future, Munsters, & another one (I just got Ghostbusters).
I just gotta plan this out. Have so many real-life influences in trying to pack into a specific to of park right now, as my very first one. Probably biting off more than I can chew really.

Make sure depth of field is disabled that may help the aliasing in the distance. If two objects overlap those will often flicker as they battle for render dominance. I have dual 4K monitors one is for displaying status or doing web searches relative to what I'm doing on the other. Something I would love to see more game developers embrace is multi monitor support. Just think of Planco with the build lists and menus all on one monitor and the other just pure full screen park. You wouldn't need a high refresh monitor for the menus but have the game environment on the higher quality one.

If I lived anywhere within two hours of this park (if it were IRL) I would DEFINITELY get an annual pass, just because of how cool the pathing is. I mean, I'm willing to drive about an hour away for some of my favorite nature-parks/walks around me, and they don't even have amusement park rides. LOL This is just a BEAUTIFUL park!
But WolfFan; what if it were 3 hours away, would you just never go? ... Well I'm not a morning person, and by the time I were to get there in the afternoon, go for somewhat of a walk, get ate up by mosquitos, and get back, it'd be too long of a day for me. lol Sure I'd go a couple times a year, but I doubt it would be enough visits to offeset the annual fee price-point. ;)
(besides, I DO live about 3 hours away from Cedar Point, and I only make it out there every couple years. lol)
EDIT: I just realized I was watching this vid at 760, and I still had all those nice things to say. So yeah, it's not JUST your resolution. ;)

It was nice and smooth before it but after you enabled it the video was constantly stuttering, almost as though it was skipping each frame interpolating with nothing instead of 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 it was 1, 0, 2, 0, 3, 0. This was displayed at 4k60 on an LG OLED.

I’m not a fan of the optical flow. When you are going over some paths or over areas with high texture or small gaps through fences it seems to create a blur that makes the game look glitchy. It looks much cleaner in the first 12 mins. For example when you are riding the wooden coaster in this one, look and the coaster fences and shadows. They look they they are glitching. If you compare that to the looping coaster before the change, watching the track it’s smooth with no glitches. Just Didn’t see that before so I would say it’s not working as well as it could be. Much better without it in my opinion.

"I've never really experienced a 4k monitor. It does make a massive difference, I'll tell you guys what. I was always like, 'Ah, it's double the pixels. How good can it be?'"
Initially, I assumed you were comparing 4k (UHD) to 1080p (HD), and you just did some quick math a little too quickly. 4k (UHD) is 3840 x 2160 pixels for a total count of 8,294,400 pixels, compared to 1080p (HD) that is 1920 x 1080 for a total count of 2,073,600 pixels. This means that 4k, pixel-wise, is exactly 4 times the number of pixels as 1080p. Then, I realized perhaps you were comparing 4k (UHD) to 2k (QHD), where 2k is 2560 x 1440 pixels for a total of 3,686,400 total pixels. Some claim that 4k is twice as many pixels as 2k, which it is close, but if you look at the numbers, it is actually more than double the number of pixels: 8,294,400 pixels compared to 3,686,400 pixels. That is more than double the number of pixels, actually it is 2.25 times the amount of pixels. Either way, upgrading to a 4k display resolution is definitely a sweet experience . . . so, welcome to the club!!! However, it won't be long before there is enough media available in 8k that it will be somewhat justifiable to upgrade to an 8k monitor . . . which is exactly 4 times the number of pixels as 4k. Currently, there is only one 8k monitor which I know of that is available on the market, Dell's UltraSharp UP3218k. Being the only one on the market, and having a ludicrous price tag of $4,029.99, and lacking content to take advantage of its display resolution, it doesn't look like I will be upgrading my monitors to a higher resolution anytime soon. I will be more than content with my triple display 4k setup for some time, as I'm sure you will derive much visual enjoyment from your 4k monitor for many parks to come!!!
