again thank you for the kind words and the spotlight! you didn't miss anything and you managed to spot many of the details which i appreciate :) also big thank you to @MyCuriousMind This park would not have been as cool without his work. He's responsible for animating the Madhouse, all the custom made tmtk including signs, queue boards, etc., the park map videos, the custom tmtk S P E A K E R S , sound design and many other things! so a lot of the credit also goes to him!
@@MrKarimsa thank you! yes EP was a big inspiration for sure, the haunted mansion in particular was very heavily inspired by the Geisterschloss lol. I also took a lot of inspiration from many other theme parks as for example the efteling, port aventura, disneysea and of course phantasialand :)
I SAW THAT!!! Did you see that? Johnny let a new weed grow in your park. ;) It's completely ruined now! (I'm being silly, if anyone couldn't tell) Seriously though. I left a longer main comment, but to sum it up. I feel like you could build something pretty impressive IRL, if given the funds and a chance. :) I mean this thing was AMAZING!!!
This is obviously inspired by Phantasialand. I just LOVED it, because this park was the one I loved the most when I visited it, in 2017 and 2018. My favorite park in the world, period. And Phantasialand is exactly that: it is not so easy to find the entrances, but this is part of the immersive experience. ❤
The creator for sure has been in Europapark, the haunted house "Casa di medici" is a great replica of Europaparks Haunted house, with a bit of disneyland Paris in there as well.
This park gives me the impression that it's inspried by Phantasialand in Germany and De Efteling in The Netherlands. Been to both of them recently, great parks!
As someone who's been on a madhouse, It one of the coolest ride experiences I've been on, because the seats and room both move. Jiang Shi temple did it very well
Wow, this must really be the best park ever created in Planet Coaster. Stunning original rides and fantastic theming. The Splashbattle is also very cute. As a frequent visitor of Phantasialand and Europa Park I understand this creation totally. The hidden queues, the many attractions on a relatively small footprint and the perfect division of the different areas. I am really really impressed!
The Vekoma Madhouse ride is THE best thing I’ve ever seen done in a park spotlight. Hands down!!! This creator has completed planet coaster. Amazing!!! 😂
It's a testament to the quality of the park that you enjoy it so much with all the references to Phantasialand sailing over your head. For example you not knowing what a mad house is, and seeing you experience the ride through the game, is so enjoyable- I love your enthusiasm, which is very infectious. It seems you've got much more experience in the game than in real life parks and it gives a truly unique perspective! A stunning park, the best I've seen on RUclips by far
Yeah the "steampunk" area immediately reminded me of Phantasialand which is something that I have struggled to recreate on my own. This guy did it very well.
This park is fantastic. I love that "Ride???" That was indoors, and the walls moved around, gasp!!! It makes me want to stop working on the park I'm working on. Lol.
Someone give this man some real money, to make us all a real park to visit. This was AMAZING!!! Just about everything in it, could be done IRL. The vistas, the theming around the park, the theming around the rides themselves, the way the concessions are distributed, the dispersal of the garbage cans. It was just astounding. Felt like we were doing a virtual tour of a real THEME park somewhere, not just some random amusement park. For example, I LOVE Cedar Point, so many rides everywhere, and a blast to visit, but it's not really a Theme Park. There's that smallish Frontier Land in the back, but there's only one or two rides that really even interact with the scenery over in that area. But Busch Gardens (and of course Disney, but they are falling WAY out of favor lately) is more of a Theme park with all sorts of cool things to look at and do on your way through the park. To the point where if you can't catch all the rides, you still quite enjoy your visit. Even that little rocking/rotating ride tucked in that little shop plaza would fit in perfectly, as one of those "cool down and/or get out of the crowds" kind of hidden-treasure rides. The kids would LOVE it, and the adults would appreciate the chance to just sit down, and rest their eyes for a moment. That's all you'd have to do, to change that from a ride to just sitting for a moment, is close your eyes. But on a hot day it would be a perfect way to get a little A/C in, and on a chilly day, it'd be a quick way to also warm up a bit. And it would rarely be busy, because of how tucked away it is.
God, you one of those guests who DEFINITELY needs a map. You get so turned around and miss stuff and say you’re “lost” in a very straight forward queue SO much
Also, how have you not seen the boat flume mechanic where the boat turns around? That’s actually something Disney used in their Norway Pavilion ride The Maelstrom, at EPCOT until they change the ride to the Frozen overlay. SO MUCH of this park is inspired by Disney and Eftling
@@IcicleM I'm pretty sure he meant in game, as in, there is no piece that allows the boat to turn around, so using a mod to make the boat seem like its on a turntable is something not seen before.
Realism impresses me so much due to the planning and the scale which makes it so much harder to create an amazing build in comparison to the bigger builds
Its astounding how good this is. It reminds me of when I saw that Close Encounters ride someone made in Planet Coaster. Sometimes people set the bar so astoundingly high you are just at a loss for words as you watch or play through it.
One of the most inspirational parks I have ever seen! I have so many more ideas for my pirate mini park. Thank you Deif for one of the most realistic experiences ever made in Planco. Now go be an imagineer
as a coaster nerd who obsesses way too much about technical details of coasters, this park is just absurdly well done. the coasters are super accurate to the real-life models, you can even see which manufacturers this park has good relationships with, with various rides by mack and vekoma, including some that don't exist in the vanilla game, like the mack big dipper (the coaster in the center of the park with the small 2 row trains) and the absurdly detailed vekoma madhouse. every little detail in this park is thought out and based on something from the real world
I'm totally amazed and speechless... This is definetely the BEST park, I've seen so far on RUclips! I just started playing, but hopefully one day I will be as good... But honestly, I always wondered how people can build stuff like this. I somehow think they already worked in a theme park or are kinds of architects or something... Otherwise I'm not sure, if "normal" people could built so super realistic...
The ride @43:00 is a Verkoma Madhouse. Alton Towers has one called Hex. The best ride I've ever ridden in my life. It's just so, so intelligently designed!!!
So glad people still make their own virtual theme parks ... I thought the trend was dead after Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, but thankfully we still got Planet Coaster. :D
Definitely feels like what PC2 could be like. Just goes to show that while we wait and hope for it, this community can just forge ahead and create it ourselves.
This theme park it's so so similar to Phantasialand with áreas like steampunk, the river quest, Fly and Port aventura with Stampida, diablo tren de la mina, or crazy barrels as a flat ride. Very very well done. I enjoyed a lot this creation park!!!!
Stallion statue did exist at 24:23. It's a bit in the shadows and with something of a silver lighting effect. 41:07: this is strongly reminiscent of an attraction the Carowinds theme park used to have back in the late 1980s. I think it was called "Blackbeard's Revenge" Instead of a temple, it was the interiors of a pirate ship, and the complete inversion showed the lower hold to be covered in gold, gems, and pirate skeletons. I used to love the illusion, especially the entrance and exit doors which were actually what rotated, but gave off the illusion that they were stable and we were rotating.
I kinda had to laugh, when Johnny was surprised nothing happened, as if he never been on a ride before with pre-shows? Doors open --> Guests Get In --> Doors Close --> Show Starts --> Show Ends --> Doors Open --> Guest Get Out, standard pre-show cycle.
so how the cutting of audio works. any time you use coaster track that's 2m and below it cuts out every once in a while. Sometimes you get lucky and it does for the whole coaster but that's just a thing with the mod sadly. however, this park is absolutely just beautiful since following it from day one!
At 32:51, and stop the video, use the , (back one frame) and . (forward one frame) to see how the Planet Coaster's time machine function shows how a day goes from sunrise to sunset. You can slow down this "flash" effect by stopping and then stepping through these frames to see the flow of a "day" better. The train ride at that point is climbing the lift hill to ready it for the coaster phase. Fun to see the video overall. :)
Taron, a mix out of F.L.Y. and Black Mamba, Colorado Adventure, Feng Ju Palace,Geisterschloss , River Quest, Chiapas =) What an amazing park.. would love to go there :D
Jiang Shi Temple is based on a Vekoma Madhouse. It might not look impressive on screen. but riding one of these rides IRL is a mental trip. The whole room is basically surrounded by a big drum. decorated with Scenery. This rotates via a programmed sequence system. Next up is where the riders sit. the lapbars are needed because the whole ride floor is on a pendulum that rotates up to 30 degrees back and forth. In combination with the spinning drum, it creates the illusion that a guest is going upside down. but really you are just being tilted a little bit. its not forceful at all, but can be really disorienting. Hex: The Legend of The Towers at Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire UK is my favourite example of a Vekoma Madhouse
amazing, this would have been Phantasialand (with Taron, River Quest, Black Mamba, Geister Rikscha, Chiapas, Jeng Fu Palace, Colorado Adventure) if they were not landlocked
Just an absolute masterpiece although I’m not sure using the mods and fake paths that it would be my favourite. It just takes away the experience from the core game. Saying that it was simply a joy to watch and 90 minutes flew by
Just getting back into this game and downloaded this map. It is absolutely stunning, but I'm curious how you are able to go into first person mode to tour the park.
