Hey Tony, thanks so much for taking the time to do this review!!! I did just want to clarify one thing about (our) titanium lights.
We make a Ti Alpha but use CP2 (commercially pure) titanium because it has 4x the thermal conductivity of 6/4 ti. All Alphas feature a solid head (no pill) to improve durability and thermal performance. We chose CP2 because the head plays a very direct role in getting the heat out of this light.
Ti Deltas are made with 6/4, but the copper pill, integral (exposed) heat sink, and graphite thermal pad are engineered to take the full thermal load and allow the light to run on maximum power for the complete life of the battery. In other words, the titanium parts have almost nothing to do with the lights thermal performance...and I designed it this way :)
I think we put a lot more actual engineering (including software thermal modeling) into our lights than any other company/maker out there.
    Thanks again!

Thanks! Great review and rant! too expensive for my pocket. I'm all about the tool helping me complete the task I'm doing. I love the Olights with their magnetic tail caps.

Great review, I would love to see your recent review on the Dragonfly in video form, however it was so well written I could understand that might be difficult to transfer to video. Great to see you posting here again 👍👌

I have the titanium in raw finish.
It is easily my favorite light.

I'm not sure if I agree about the sprint runs, but I'm definitely not concerned. Regardless, its good to see a video from you bro.

I completely agree with your commentary on the state of gear in 2019. I’m pretty turned off at the moment.

if you read the website, it doesn't matter what material the flashlight is made of because it has a large copper sink, so if you get it in titanium it will cool as well as the nickel aluminum

I guess I’m not really in much of a position to level criticism considering my videos are pretty lame, but if I was fortunate enough to get the maker themselves to comment on a rather low view-count video I’d be sure to address it. It’s pretty cool that Jason Hui himself left a well thought and well explained comment here to clarify the thermal performance of the Delta. Beyond that, thanks for this video. It’s a good one.

Does he put his makers mark on those?
