    Great video. getting a $120 rod for less than $100 is super cool. Now that the new models are available for sale (and you can also find under $100 deals), are you considering investing in that new BassX model?

      I actually haven't seen the new models yet but as soon as I do I'll probably grab one to see what they are about! :)

    Wondering if anyone uses the Bass X 7’4” for A-rigs? I usually use lighter a-rigs, with three 1/8 jig heads. I picked up a BassX today and really like the feel.

      Is this the 7-4 heavy or MH? Either way that sounds like money!!

    Cool vid. I have the same rod for spinning. 7'1 MHF. What baits pair well with that rod the most?

      I really enjoy throwing my texas rigs and my shakey heads on this rod. Super light and good backbone. Good sensitive tip as well so you can fill the slightest bite.

      @@darkreelaction Ah cool. Would you say this rod is more for lighter baits? Or is it meant for topwater too or bladed jigs as well?

    • @darkreelaction
      @darkreelaction  2 года назад +1

      You could throw bladed baits and stuff I just wouldn't throw anything thats over a 3 quarters ounce on it but small jigs and chatterbaits would work pretty well with this rod as well. Topwater as well just nothing to heavy

    What does it mean when the rod is Tip Heavy?

    • @darkreelaction
      @darkreelaction  2 года назад

      Possibly a heavy rod or a med heavy rod, it might say at the base of the rod

    A fast action gets to the meat of the rod quicker not slower compared to a mod fast. So what you’re describing as mod fast is what a fast rod should be.
