    I watch this about once or twice per year for the past two or three years. I still can’t believe it quite honestly. It would take me SEVERAL hours to make that leg and then another 30 minutes sanding.

    now that is skll! 3 minutes per leg is pretty insane. you inspire me to pick up my scew.

      Thanks William, It's worth it when you suddenly get the grip of it there is no better feeling than turning with a skew. Keep up the practice.

    Excellent Steve as per usual a master at work. Things look like they just got quicker.Did you use nails in your template / guide to mark out all the lines? Saves a few more seconds however you have done it.

      It is a story board with pins filed to a point to mark the major positions.

    This guy can work with a lathe!! After 40 yrs I am not 5% as fast and then the final product is not 10% as nice. Would you consider taking me in as an apprentice? It would be worth my while to travel from South Africa.

      I grind totally freehand on an 8” grinder and use my tools straight off the wheel so there’s little to show.
