Chriselle is in the background. Love this Fawn team!
these kind of videos are more helfull than back to school and all that stuff....:)
Mallory is just..bam! Love to watch her, brilliant girl!
I love Mallory! She's so adorable and professional :)
This girl is amazing! How gorgeous is she as well?! What great tips too. I have gone overboard on makeup before, thinking it shows I put a lot of effort into gettting ready! This is really helpful
idk who's this mallory but she's extremely suited to be an interviewer. she knows what to ask, she looks comfortable, lots of eye contact. she's awesome !
Her questions are awesome.
The lighting is awwwwful, lol.
Oh I love Mallory!!
urban decay everythingggg
I totally agree. I think they're all better as seperate gurus
Mallory is so pretty and cute!
I really like Mallory, she's so nice!
I really like Mallory's hair and makeup :)
I love Mallory!
I like Mallory. I thought she was great. :) I enjoyed all the videos from this little series.
I totally agree with you!
Love the host!!
Can you do a Mallory makeup tutorial? Her makeup looks good - and yeah, be a more REALISTIC fawn!
I was just about to comment that. LOL you beat me to it!
mallory is amazing!
yup
I would really like a hair tutorial inspired in the girl that has been doing all of this job interview videos
I love it! Great!
Chriselle!!!!!!!
Mallory is great!! One thing though, in all of these, it's just "conservative, conservative, conservative", which should be your base, but often, interviewers meet several applicants that day, and to help them remember you, you can add something fun, statement thing of sorts, I mean, don't go mad with your eye shadows etc, but maybe add a colourful piece of jewelry, a hairpiece, a dash of colour on your nails! Nothing crazy, just something to make you stand out ;)
Lol, well yeah. The outfit you wore sounds really informal to me; I would always wear dress pants or pencil skirts with a tucked-in top, blazer optional to interviews. For me, since I'm short, I wore heels, but dressy flats would have been acceptable too.
Fawn should use her for more interviews
Mallory is such a natural at this. A lot of comments about the interview techniques on Fawn come from people who obviously have never interviewed anybody at all...(I study journalism myself so I do interview people). Having said that, I do not believe in rules when it comes to dressing or make-up. Everybody knows their own job and company best and know what they can or cannot do. :) Good vid though!
exactlyy
12!!
I love this video! (:
love!!
we need more CHIRSELLE
love!
mallory is so pretty! :)
Oki :)
malorie is gorgeous :o

chriselle in the background ♥♥
I've been wanting to try that UD spray. hmm... got to look into that =)
That urban decay all night setting spray brakes me out like crazy.
I want that'd coffee cup
i wish you guys showcased each model, the outfits, and hair better. some close ups would be really helpful!
I see Chriselle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the way to go... be true to yourself whatever that is. Either you normally go out with our without make up, you should continue doing that for a job interview, as, if the interviewer is a professional, will care about your skills and not about your appearance - of course, respecting a minimum of tidiness....
Good for you!! and hope you get to be an Art Director sometime soon :)
I think it depends on the company and the job that's all i am saying, i did not say i went to my interview with shorts and flip flop, i was wearing a blouse, jeans and black boots. so that was pretty formal for me, but i guess when u are looking for a commercial or marketing position, maybe u need more like heels and stuff. I'm also thinking about the working look overall, the company i work for is really cool, i can come in shorts and flip flop, nobody cares. the only important thing is work.
Skincare is essentially what really matters. Many people neglect their skin and focus too much on concealing their flaws instead of eliminating their blemishes with an effective skincare routine.
3:09 there is Chriselle :)
I'm the makeup artist that worked on this project. This was NOT sponsored by urban decay. Those products used are some of my favorite's that I use on set and on myself. No one purchases my products for my kit but me. It just happens that they are all the same brand.
mallory can star in a horror movie with this look at 2:33
Urban decay all nighter.
3:10 Chriselle! :)
thanks, someone is understanding me, i am in a creative work but that doesn't mean i have to wear make up and expensive clothes, i think this does not depend on the job, it's the personnality that's all. my boss is very girly, has make up on and nice clothes and my collegues don't, they are just who they are.
i couldnt have said that better myself. its so true. i'm currently looking for a cream i can use at night time since im 22, i can't go a day without exfoliating and moisturizing my face even if i don't go out.
chriselle at 3:36
I had bleached tips for some time before I started going for desk jobs so when I asked the salon ladies where I go to get haircuts, they advised me to cut the tips off because it's not a professional look. Also, I was just saying that what you say doesn't apply to everyone, so it's really silly to say that "people" don't need to care about their clothes or makeup and just exude confidence.
Is that Chriselle in the back at 3:09?
3:10
Chriselle pops up ;DD
i'm a girl, and i think skills is better than make up, u don't need make up, don't tell me u NEED make up, or yeah maybe if u have a very bad acne skin, that's right, then u need it. You need confidence and self estime to succeed at a job interview !!! and you don't need make up to have that, if u need make up to be confident, then that's the wrong confidence, confidence come from the inside. make up and clothes won't make the difference. any kind of jobs except in make up industry of course.
Would have been nice if they actually did a sample tutorial
Mallory was so poised and elegant! Such a great expert to have included, thanks for the upload, I have a job interview tomorrow and this series totally helped :D
3:25 chriselle walks in the background
i see chriselle! on the background
This is so helpful
Agree with "ShinificationYou", would love to see a hair tutorial :)
So is this a UD ad =3=
She looks like nicole anderson!!
she kinda looks like rosie huntington-whiteley
for example, i died my hair in hot pink a few weaks ago and nobody told me to die my hair back to brown. we don't meet customers so maybe that's why they don't care about the look lol ! i guess if u are going to meet people all day long, u have to be more casual and classy.
the side pose the interviewer looks soooooo much like Lauren Conrad
Im a skin therapist, medical aesthetician and makeup artist and I love that woman saying skin care is more important then cover up... SO TRUE... but I have to add.... skin care has to also include proper hydration, as well as a terrific moisturizer and SPF EVERY DAY!! The sun is what does 98% of the aging to our skin, so slather on that protection... for quick convenience get a good facial moisturizer with a minimum SPF 30 already in it :) For all you eco natural chicks, a little bit of extra virgin cold first pressed coconut oil works wonders... and is a natural sunscreen, antifungal and antibacterial!
i personally thought she did a really good job
I went to interview for a clothing stire in the mall and the manager said straight out that if an associate I shows up without makeup they will be sent home so they can improve their look. Some businesses are shallow. I normally wear makeup so it wasn't an issue with for me. I don't think it's right though. Torrid was horrible.
3:10 look, it's Chriselle =^_^=
Good baby. I'm from India
Hair tutorial for Malory's hair!
Agreed. I'd say I'm in a mid-level position, and I'll wear my makeup however the hell I feel like it.
lol ikr !
Who's Mallory? 0_o and why have I not heard of her!!!!!
hehe, I see Chriselle
wow, it must be in the name, all the mallory's I know/seen have pretty hair......
@Sei1863
She is talking about the makeup for the interview. She can go all out with her makeup if she wants
I have an idea- let's complain about sponsorship on videos and expect that all of the people on FAWN do their videos for free. Plus, they shouldn't do any tutorials on subjects that one person could consider common sense, because that means that everyone thinks it's common sense too. Hell, let's just go on youtube and bitch about everything. You should make your own video on this subject and we can see how good yours is. Don't worry, I'll wait. Let me know when you post it.
I love this! but I think the name "Yeah! That look" is kinda cheesy
I swear ive seen the 2nd makeup artist, Carla, on the Ellen show...
I disagree. Realistically, they require different levels of professionalism. Crazy hair and bold make-up can definitely distract away from what you bring to the table when you are interviewing. You have to make your first impression your best, and if that means toning down your look so people can accurately perceive you, then it's a smart technique to adopt.
3:23 the model looks like Reese Witherspoon.
I get upset because I feel like anyone with super textured hair is always made to feel like we just look like big bushy messes, instead of people embracing our texture we're pressured to conform by heat styling or other methods of changing texture. It's sad. :( I understand I can't have my hair just in my face for an interview but the idea that having really curly curls is some sort of slap in the face to the interviewer sucks. :(
So much of it is common sense. Also the lady that said she was sorted with her bangs and a bit of lip colour is so wrong!!! She's hidden by her hair.
Check out DannysDorm!
3:35 HEYYY CHRISELLE :)
but of course if ure going in the fashion industry, of course u have to wear fashion clothes, this reminds me of the devil wear prada .... Andrea had to change to fit in "that" world. I guess u just do as you want as long as u fit in.
Probably best not to ask the MUA questions when she's doing makeup? She looked a bit annoyed.
i'm a graphic designer and i don't wear make up at work, NO ONE cares !!!!!! My skills are my job, not my face or clothes or make up. Position has nothing to with that, if i was an art director i will still don't wear make up
hahahaha looool
it sounded like she meant no one at her work place cares
a dancer. google her
I wonder how much Michelle is paying the fawn team
So just because this video doesn't apply to you, a graphic designer, NO ONE cares about how you present yourself in an interview? That means employers of ANY OTHER PROFESSION won't care about your clothes or makeup at first glance?
Seriously dude.
taking makeup tips for an interview from someone who wears makeup as heavy as this girl!?!? wow
