I love this song, there are so many layers, meanings and references.
"That's irony" is a wordplay on "I, Ronnie" as the person with the mask is shown, so it is Ronnie. He crowns himself and he puts himself on the cross.
The people copying him is a reference to "Life Of Brian".
The main meanings I got from the song:
Ronnie took his pain and anger and turned it into his superpowers.
Don't follow leaders blindly or we will end up in a dystopian future.
There's a lot more, I could write an essay about it. 😆

I enjoyed that way more than I thought I would! For some reason it reminded me a bit of Hi Ren by Ren, even though they sound nothing alike. Probably the inner demons or something? Idk. The video was too good I wasn't paying close attention to the lyrics! ❤
I don't know Ren, I think it was going viral some time back, but I never checked it out. There's definitely lots of inner demon struggles going on in Radke's stuff!

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses it's when he was much younger but it realllllly does give you a lot of insight into him as a person and how he's changed and evolved and grown over the years. I don't think he woulda been lifted into the air like that in the same way unless it meant something important. Much different song, it's boppy and it's fun. Yet still so dark. Hard to explain, definitely unlike anything I've heard before. It was THE song that introduced me to the band. ❤️ Much love you two made my whole day yesterday 💯🫂
