    Hi there! I'm a high school senior that is considering food science as a major! However, I do have some things that I wanted to ask before I am really set on food science. I wanted to ask, do you think food science will be replaced by ai/automation one day? And if so, do you think that it may be a cause for worry as a person who may enter the food science industry in a few years?

    I am a senior in high school this year and I am planning on doing something related to food processing and nutrition. Do you think Food science is the best choice for me? does food science give some knowledge about nutrition, or his main focus is only on the food processing side?

    Hi Ima, I was about to compelere my masters degree in food science but the thing was I don’t have any work experience, so I thought of looking for online certification programs to build my profile. Do you think certification courses like HACCP and iso programs matter for jobs?

    I just posted this message on your Instagram. Thank you for providing a wealth of information regarding food science. My high senior is interested in pursuing a degree in this field, and we've had a challenging time finding degree programs in our state (our preference is east coast). It's not offered in every college. She had to apply to alternative degrees like biochemistry and even out of the state (Midwest). Anyway, I found a degree program, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, close by. I feel like this may be related to food science. Is it related? I'm not a scientific person at all. Thanks

      Hi there, thank you for commenting and letting me know :) Food Science is such a great field to pursue. I do know that Biochem/Molecular Bio would be a good start. However, I think it may be more beneficial to study something related to general Chemistry if Food Science is not an option... It also depends on what the end goal is too! There are so many routes to get into the Food Industry & reach the end goal. I hope this helps!

    Hai Ima, thank you for sharing your experience.
    I have some question:
    How you passed the interview on regulatory while your experience was teaching, so is it possible if current working not align with our target vacancy
    And how you start your first work as regulatory on industry, is there any training for some periode or do you have a senior Coworker who guide you?

    • @Imaslife
      @Imaslife  Год назад

      Hi there, I was probably able to get this role in Regulatory due to my work experience after teaching (I worked in Supply Chain & Procurement), my ability to analyze data + my overall skillset. I do believe that a lot of skills for regulatory can be learned without direct work experience. Once I started, I did receive training in Regulatory and understanding the Code of Federal Regulations.
