Yeah I've been looking into getting those exact pair of shoes for a bit now and after you explaining how it effects you and your game makes sense. I was bowling today and everything felt wrong and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to stay balanced, I kept falling off the shot. Your also right about trying to adjust your physical game to your shoes and I didn't realize that until after watching this video because the other day I was able to stay perfectly balanced and in form but today I was all over the place trying to get things right and nothing was going good. Sorry for the long comment. Long story short I'll be getting a pair of those shoes as soon as possible
I prefer to slide as planting can make for tight muscles in my left hip area (R Handed). The S8 sole that came with my shoes does not provide enough slide at my local houses. The S9 is a sawtooth that consists of both the 8 & 9. I need to add the S10 to my bag.
I'm 5 weeks I to league, Wood Approaches that were stripped over the summer yet I still cant stop sliding. I've switched my sole the last 2 weeks I'm my Dexter 9's I went to the Red 4 to the Brown 2 and spent all last night trying not to fall. I seem to be the only one having this issue every shot. I haven't changed my heal yet I guess that's next. But last night got to the point I didn't want to bowl Game 2 and 3. Bad footing is extremely frustrating.
Can you do a more detailed video of the women’s shoes that have the interchangeable soles and heels? I cannot find any decent reviews of the women’s dexter 9s HT. They are pricey and while I hear decent things here and there, I would love to see a review of all the high performance women’s shoes on the market right. I need to make the investment but want to do it with longevity of the shoe in mind given how much I bowl.
great video, my new shoes were confusing me, I always had a pair of shoes, and that was it, and then I take a break from bowing, I come back, I buy a new pair of shoes and I get a ton of slides and heals and I am confused. I am old.
I just got these shoes, threw the red on my heel and feel on my ass, I hate it so far! I know I just need to buy more and find what works for me, but my game has gone to complete garbage. I'm a two handed bowler and when I release the ball at my left foot I slide in at an angle, do you have any suggestions how I can improve? Everything feels so wrong, I just chuck it into the gutter. Thank you!
So I have the S12 on my slide foot, however I haven't changed my heel, I'm still using the one that came with my shoes. (have Dexter the 9 shoes) should I get a different heel to compensate for the more slick sole?

I always felt that the approach and slide is the most important part to throwing the ball consistently
And Nick I feel you are 100% right.

I am going to get a 10 as well and maybe 1 step up for the sole.
