I have the same problem with art on social media. At this point, presenting your art here isn’t about the art itself anymore. It’s mostly about figuring out how to make people engage with it and interpret it correctly, which eventually takes away the whole purpose of art as a medium to express your subconscious and untold feelings. Instead, it turns into a tool to suppress them. It’s so sad to see talented artists abandon their passion just because some random person on social media harasses them or because they don’t get good engagement and start to feel unworthy of creating art (let alone sharing it with friends and others)

That's a great point actually! My friend had the exact same problem. That's why these days he rarely posts his art on social media, which tbh makes me a bit sad. I totally agree with u. I think social media can be even damaging for artists. :( Now that I think about it most artist I know rarely have a big audience on social media.

put plastic surgery on the list of things you don't need. don't take it as a compliment, just not needed. unless you have actual health issues it would improve.
