Omg last week I went to reprogram my sprinkles and it was kinda dark and I was so focused but seen something dark run, like it bolted but it was so fast I thought I was trippin because I just had a heat stroke. Of course I had to find out for myself. I didn’t see anything and almost put my hand to start really looking and BOOM a fat a55 gigantic black widow bolted and I froze then scream omgggg wtfffff!!!! Yup my neighbors thought I was quiet. Not anymore

At the least, you should receive a credit for the damaged cabinet. Mention that you have spent a small fortune at Lowe’s since you recently purchased a home and have been remodeling. Hey @Angela, you don't like the cabinets smell :( I belong to a family of carpenters, all of them live in Mexico and I'm the only one living in the USA, and when I feel home sick just go to Home Depot or Lowes on the cabinet or lumber area to smell those material, lol and that helps my soul
I made my cutting table out of a old long dresser that had 6 drawers and then put a countertop on it. Cost me about $75.00 total! Right height and width to cut fabrics on.

I bought to 2 sheets of birch plywood 4x8 cut at 5 ft. I had a piece 5 ft x12 " I used to glue on to the on side to give strength at the joint. Then installed the top on some shelf cubicles. 5 ft X 5 ft. Bigger than I needed but I sometimes buy 60" fabric, so it works out.
What size cabinets did you get? Which brand are they? What is the table-top from IKEA called and what size is it? It looks great! I am sure you have no problem with creativity in your work room.
You made me tired just watching you both. I do have to say my husband decided last weekend that he wanted to change our bathroom cabinets and countertop which worked out great for me because I used the two cabinets from the bathroom ( which are similar without the top drawer (which I will ask my neighbor to make a drawer for me) and wood from Homedepot, had it cut and made my own desk, which was less stressful than watching you two but you did look like you both had fun doing it.... the smell of the boxes in your car and using your man as a ruler had be lmao. We've made similar with countertops and kallax shelves from ikea too at our studio. By the way, we've managed to get some money back for damaged piece from the store. They've returned almost 20% of damaged furniture price;)
U should have blast the store number all over fb and maybe someone from cooperate would get the word...and watching more, one thing I learned from buying a cabinet from Lowe's, you need to open the box and check them out before u leave. We live 30-40 mins away and got home and the entire bottom was busted. We even filmed opening the box and taking it out just to prove it was busted before hand.

This will be long... I work for Lowes, this happens quit often with customers. Who think we are lazy and ignorant, when that’s not the case at all. This time of year Lowes hires seasonal employees, so no they would know every product in every department. Lowes pays minimum wage for customer service associate. Minimum Wage! Not every employee is certified to use power equipment to pull down heavy and oversized products. You have go through a series of on line courses as well as training on the power equipment before you can use it on the floor. To use power equipment you have to have spotter, which means finding a person in your department or another department . This process of pulling product from top stock usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. You just don’t walk up a ladder to pull down cabinets. This time of year is an average of 20 customers per associate plus, you have answer phone calls, provide support to the internet department, and try your best to help out in other departments you have not been trained in. So, when I hear “lazy” and customers have know Idea that associates get verbally abused on a daily bases, have to monitor products because Lowes and stores like Lowes is a high theft store. This made me sad for my coworkers to know someone is calling them lazy, not knowing they may have worked freight that morning had to pull product from top stock, came across the store from another department, because they were understaffed that day, Lowes employees do work hard to try help and please needy and high maintenance customer who can’t ever imagine that 10 other people need help also. Finally, Lowes was one of the few stores the remained open during the COVID shutdown last year. We went work and we served customers, putting ourselves at risk. Lowes lost many employees to COVID last year and this year. We see you and your day in a life of a small business owner. How about seeing us with a different set of eyes and follow around a Lowes employee for a day, your opinion of being “Lazy”might change”
Hi Naomi! First I would like to apologize for upsetting you. I have definitely been to other Lowes where the workers have been amazing. They would ask if I needed help and be very friendly. This specific Lowes over the past month I have had the same issue. I totally understand that certain power equipment is needed for certain items. The amazing employees that did end up helping us just used a ladder and even I thought it was unsafe and my husband helped because we didn't want anyone getting hurt. But you are correct I shouldn't have generalized it as a few employees don't mean every employee. Have a great day!
