Designed to the Nines if possible I’d love to see a patio makeover. Ideally, everything I like (Tuscan outdoor kitchen w/ a water feature) cost thousands of dollars (which I refuse to spend). However, if my patio was more inviting like a resort, I’d learn to appreciate the outdoors more.

'I'm a bit of a fabriholic so I have quite a collection of fabrics...' (Holds up small pile of 7 neatly folded swatches). Me: Laughing and thinking of the two suitcases, two sports bags, three drawers and two large storage chests that barely contain my fabric collection.
Beautiful makeover though, you've done an amazing job, it's nice to watch it done with a perfect balance of making a good quality professional job without going overboard. Very inspiring, thank you!

I have been watching so many "craft room makeovers" looking for inspiration and haven't found any till just now. For being "RUclips Craft/DIY ladies" they leave a lot of things half done or poorly put together. I appreciate you attention to detail and doing things the proper way.

Of you remove the tape before it’s fully dried it won’t bled at all, it also needs to be at an angle

What a perfect use of that space! It looks great.
A tip for the sea grass basket. Get two unfinished wood drawer knobs, a small piece of scrap wood cut in two, the bead board paneling would work well, and a couple pony tail holders and some string.
Divide the front base of the basket near the top in three for knob placement. Use an opening in the weave closest to those marks to place the knobs. Drill a hole in the center of each piece of scrap wood the size of the bolt that holds the knob. Place that piece of wood inside the basket and screw in the knob in place. Squeeze one end of the pony tail holder in the lid above each knob from the top. Open lid, slip string through and tie in place. A safety pin could work in place of the string.
Now your lid should stay in place.

Designed to the Nines I’ve been watching some of you videos...I’m so jealous you are so comfortable painting and doing shelves! I almost died when you recreated the PB Bedford craft table! I have the Bedford desk and other pieces on my home office but all came at a very high price!!!!

Your craft room is beautiful! I don't have the tools or skills you have but I am so impressed with evrything you've done. My tongue is drooling. My craft room is in my bedroom. I have no building skills, no tools, no money. But I am inspired to do better. I am in the process of organizing in there and am making some dollar tree organization shelves. I dont have a cricut and probably never will on disability. I do a hot knife, staple gun, and drill. Thats a start. I'm learning alot from you. You are one smart lady and you don't cut corners which I think is awesome. If I do something I want it done right. Thank you for your videos. I am building up supplies one at a time. I too am a stripe person. I have been using stripes for about 10 years now to decorate. I like how you turn an ordinary room into an extraordinary room. It's so pretty, I wouldn't want to leave. It's so funny I make storage boxes and used the same turquoise and white contact paper to cover them. I'd found a little metal turquoise colored cupboard without it's doors at the thrift store. I made the boxes so that I could put 2 boxes on each shelf. Love the transformation, and the inspiration.

Thanks for the inspiration! I am redoing my craft area. I have a small, one bedroom apartment so my craft area is in my dinning area of my apartment. I have found a good deal on a craft table with built in cube storage and also a 9 cube storage shelf. I have been currently using my dinning table and plan on eliminating it. Wish me luck in my redo! Love how your craft room turned out! It looks great!

Absolutely love the way it turned out. I did dupe your desk, thank you for the inspiration, and I love it. I will say, you have my respect for lifting that top by yourself. I could lift the MDF pieces, but once attached to the 2x4s ug. At 59+6, I had to have a little assistance 😂.

A trick on the paint, take some caulking and put some on your finger and press it into the seam then wipe it off with a damp towel. That will seal the dips in the wall to the tape. Paint then when it's dry and you peel the tape off carefully. Wiping with towel is a critical step so it doesn't peel off with the tape later ;)

Put a frog closure on your basket. The room looks absolutely terrific. I also have quite the selection of fabric. I buy it all the time. Love looking at fabric. I picked up a substantial stained glass panel at Goodwill on Tuesday for $4.00. It's in perfect condition. I just have to find a place to hang it. My pieces have center stage. It's minus 13 degrees right now, but the sun is shining. Time to go shopping.

Using the lighter background color to seal the painters tape is brilliant! I also love your sign! One thing I appreciate about your DIY projects is that they always look really classy, which is not always true of RUclips DIYs. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent and brilliant hard work Natalie 🌷🌷🌷 I have no space in my house to do a craft room, so I created a small space in the garage and used old desks, my kids used to use and with a pegboard and few shelving and hooks I now have a craft area just for myself 😊

i just built my crafting desk and placed my power strip at the back on the wall. its a custom desk/table and the reach is a little far to plus things in. after seeing yours screwed in under the edge of the desk, at your lap, that makes so much more sense!!! thanks for sharing. this really looks like it was done by professionals (as opposed to done by one person at home) or a tv set!

Hi Natalee, and thank you for this I wish i had seen it before I revamped my Den. I bought all of my shelving from Argos so they were a good price but they still need moving around. My daughter tells me I have a shelf overload but I have soooooo many books and hobbies I need them. Now I have all the units its going to be a case of organising them in a way that will work for me. But as with everything else it will have to wait till lockdown is over. Have a safe and happy crafting day xxx
