I think Rob Thomas is easily one of the most underrated vocalists EVER. Guy had an amazing range and he can change tones so quickly.

Of course we all agree Rob Thomas is a phenomenal vocalist/Songwriter, but can we respect the guitar player for playing a right handed guitar left handed upside down like wtf?!? That’s skill knowing where to shape your hands.
Richard Thomas Music got a mate who’s done that for years, actually has one of the fastest banjo hands I’ve ever seen ... and upside like that too as he’s left handed
It looks like it is a left handed guitar but for some reason the strings are on upside down, if it was a right handed guitar the pick guard would be on the top but its on the bottom. But still that guy is killin it playing that thing upside down.
@@Hectic_ This is so random. My guess is he learned to play using a right handed guitar and thus strings his guitar inversely? Never seen this before.

One thing I noticed the first time I saw Rob live in concert(1995-96) was that he doesnt need studio magic to make him sound like a good singer.. the magic is all him

This song is so personal to me ! I know I'm not the only one when I visited my friend there was a lot of others unwell !!!!
I've seen him live twice... My daughter bought me tickets to his solo tour for mothers day last year.. right smack in the middle of row 17... Closer than it sounds & you had to pass directly in front of stage to get to the bathrooms... I went A LOT. She remembers falling asleep to MB20 when she was little, those were her lullabies. Lol from the time rob walked on stage until he left I bawled like a baby. Both times. Like his voice has been a constant background to my life for the past 20 odd years. If you played MB20 albums in order it would be like a time line, I could tell you where I was, who I was with & even how I felt. To have him & that voice right in front if me was overwhelming. (Plus he's f'n gorgeous! 😍) Goal is front row next year in Charlotte, NC ❤

This song is absolutely what it is like to be mentally ill. It’s been around for like years, but I didn’t listen to the verses until now and I’m like oh my god that sounds exactly like how I feel how my son feels and it’s absolutely the truth about mental illness and there’s we spread all over the place. Mentally ill people including myself. See this every day and live this every day! I am extremely mentally ill, but I am in reality world when it comes to people feelings, because that makes up a large part of your being as a person. My son who is awesome as a person has the same diagnosis as me and tries to help me, even though we are both mentally ill, this song is awesome if you are bipolar, schizoaffective disorder have high anxiety or a gamut of other mental issues. You are beautiful, and they need to be acknowledged.❤

So underrated singer and artist in general. I know they playin his songs in radio but usually Lonley No More and Smooth but that's a 1% of his good songs. Still when this going in radio ask anyone do they know who's that and they have no clue. Sad
