    Why wouldn’t you just wrap the original?

      Because that doesn't look as good to me.

      Yes, you have to practice on like 50 of them to get good, otherwise it looks like ass.

    Does 2023-2024 crv do the same way?

      Not sure. I bet it's very similar though. Honda never changes much

    This is an excellent upgrade! Thank you for sharing. I’d like to do that on my XTerra! The only problem is finding one in great condition since they stopped making them in 2015!

    Hello, what tool did you have to use to remove the switches on the steering wheel with paddle shifters? I can't seem to reach the tabs without the shifters out, thank you.

    Q? I own a 17 CRV Lx and at the time I was thinking about buying it for the price. Now, I am glad that I have the 2.4l engine. I am at 84K and would love to swap the radio., I watched your video on the radio swap and I am seriously considering it. But, Why didn’t you get a higher trim level ? I am only asking because you have been upgrading the base Lx.

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  2 года назад +1

      Because the 2.4 engine is the only good engine choice for this model.

    Hi any idea where I can find a 2016 f350 diesel lariat style instrument cluster? I want to replace my current basic cluster

    Nice upgrade. I was wondering how to upgrade steering wheels. The issue with the Honda replacement parts is pretty severe. I was told it would be a year for the dealership to receive a backup camera to replace the dead one on my ‘16 accord. I ended up just buying an aftermarket one on Amazon.

    Great video. where can i get a new bolt? did you use blue loctite when you put it back?

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  Год назад +1

      You should use blue loktite yes. If you want a new bolt, you can get one from any Honda dealer or online at a site like hondapartsnow.com

    What is the part number for the 2019 lx leather steering wheel? The one in the description is for the higher trims and like you said the button don't work. Your video is really nice and I would like to get one after watching your video!

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  Год назад +1

      You have to transfer the buttons from your LX wheel to the leather one. The new wheel doesn't include any buttons, it's just the leather grip. The only reason the one I had had the wrong buttons was because it was used from a junk yard. New ones from Honda don't include any plastic or wiring or buttons.

    Do you know ho2 can I upgrade my 04’s steering wheel to some modern Honda one? Is that possible?

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  Год назад +1

      Not really. I know some Acura steering wheels/air bags will fit the 04 CRV, but from the same year. Not the modern ones.

    The new one is heated did you hook that up?

    • @JackofAllMasterofNone
      @JackofAllMasterofNone  Год назад +1

      No. It's not an easy process and I don't care for a heated wheel. The wiring is not there to hook it up.
