Hard braking on a short runway + scenic approach | Atlantic Airways A319

Late afternoon landing in Vagar airport in Faroe Islands. The aircraft is Airbus A319 operated by Atlantic Airways, the national carrier of this small nation living in North Atlantic. The aircraft was enroute from Billund in Denmark.
During approach we have been welcomed by spectacular views of high clifs and grassy hills of the Vagar island, which is home to the only airport in the whole archipelago.
Just after touch down, pilots applied hard breaking, which ended up short off the runway exit. Will remember this landing as one of the best aviation experiences in my life.
