I can't believe how people can be so negative about the band's new album, I think it's a well worthy addition to their discography. By far my favorite metal album of 2012. This song is not the best to showcase the awesomeness of the album (my personal least favorite), but they have some crazy face grinding stuff in the rest of it. They are back to playing extreme music right now so if youre not satisfied with that, go listen to None So Vile and stay stuck in the past while we enjoy new music.
I was soooooo fucking skeptical when you guys announced that the new album was to be self-titled. It seemed like the worst move you could make. Then I heard it. And I understood. And I was so, so wrong.
This album is the best thing they ever did, seriously. Technical perfection and fucking brutal sound, THIS is what death metal has to sound like. If you still whine about lord mumbleworm, I can't help you.
This album is fucking amazing. The band heard what the fans had to say about "the unspoken King" and they went back to the drawing board and gave us this. Not complaining, I love this album.
Totally agree mindstab4, I thought the lyrics were great too, in the way that they don't resort to the usual Death Metal lyrics about gore/blasphemy which have been done ad nauseum.
I kinda like the lyrics, McGachy has a particular writing style. Lord Worm is impossible to top when it comes to lyrics writing, I think he's one of the best that death metal ever had. Interesting enough, though. The video itself is quite lackluster, nothing special.

People kept telling me about how this was a great album because they were going back to their roots and not the same way they went with their last album. I beg to differ. I think they have done a mediocre job at best. That being said, ill always love Cryptopsy, so whatevs. And wheres the music video?? I don't wanna read lyrics for a Cryptojam! Good work guys, bot good enough. You HAVE DONE, and CAN DO much better. 5/10.
