They don't understand that when God separated the 12 tribes in The Old Testament...In Genesis...God separated them changed the languages for each of them...He did that because he knew that mankind would get smarter and smarter and ruin what he had created....With that said people don't read what is written....God our Creator wasn't a religion...Man named it religion which has caused people to question who is right who is wrong...I listened to a Native American Cherokee Chief speak about God Our Creator...The way he explained it was beautiful because it was the same way God Our Creator had explained about Earth and what we were supposed to do on this Earth and take care of it...Now with that said...When the tribes separated the Enemy Satan who is the god of lies...has spent his days on this Earth to destroy it and what people don't realize is that there's a devil seed an evil seed that not all men come from Abraham...the descendant of Seth Adams Son...Abel was killed by Cain and God warned him that he would be separated from him if he did..Well there it is right there that's why people can't separate the two...God punishes the disobedient just like we discipline our kids...Then the flood happened and all was destroyed then Noah the son of Seth had 3 sons....Shem Ham and I can't remember the other one...Ham did the same thing he betrayed his father and God made him a slave and his offspring to his brothers...God didn't start over from that he allowed things to go forward...Then Hams children after tribes were separated were all part of Sodom And Gomorrah and the sun god Baal...Baphomet...Satan and they worshiped him...God specifically said no false gods no idolatry....Ok...Well they have sacrificed their children to Baal for wealth etc...God destroyed that temple...So with that said history repeats itself...We were separated then Ice Age happened separating the countries from each other making continents....Because we were all connected at one time...That's how we all ended up in different places...Same thing languages were different...Then over the years we started combining again and look where we are now...So our Creator is God...Our Creator is the only God we have and it's sad that the evilness of this world has tried to turn us away from the Truth...So people really need to stop because the Pagan Calendar they have been making us use isn't correct and we pagan Calendar comes from the Old Roman Catholic Church that serves the sun god...And it goes all the way back to Egyptians...Pharoah's...And the Earth was here before them...So no the year could be 2035 now in God's time not a false God...I hope that this helps God isn't Christian he isn't Presbyterian he is Methodist Penecostal Catholic Lutheran Baptist He Isn't Roman CATHOLICISM....And He isn't Latter Day Saints Mormon He isn't Protestant...He is God The Creator of all things....He didn't create evil evil made a decision to create it and God punished him and he wants us all to go down with him...So anyways I wanted you to understand and I know you are mad thinking Christians separated us and all that...but no the false Christians who used christianity as a cover up evilness of this world did that...And I'm mad at evil using God The Creator to separate us even more...So I had to reach out to you because I understand where you are coming from and I understand how you feel but not all is bad and not all is against us....But the government is full of evilness and has always been but the same evil that is here is everywhere else too...

It was christianity that made people want to convert us and shove christianity down our throats. Christianity is why so many tribes have lost their traditions and cultural ways and a sense of themselves.
My tribe is now full of spiritually confused people who will have Christian church services before having traditional funerals--funerals that would be considered "pagan" by Christian standards.
Do not try to downplay the damage that Christian beliefs and morality has done to tribes around the world.

lol haha Kings?! I have no idea what you're talking about. It isn't just christians who've done the damage. It's also Christianity itself and it's tenets that have done so much harm to our old ways and culture. According to God and the Bible, my people are godless heathens who need Jesus and salvation. I guess all my ancestors and relatives who rejected this bullshit are burning in hell right now, huh?

Baloney! I've met plenty of born again Native Americans. They are as happy with the Lord Jesus Christ as anyone else is. You don't seem to know much about Christian beliefs and morality. Jesus taught us to love one another and forgive each other. He taught us to treat each other the way we would want to be treated ourselves. Why don't you try reading what the Bible says yourself? I would recommend the Gospel of John, it's the Book most Christians like best.

    • @heartless_raven

@Andrew C there are many variations of that story. No doubt the Vikings did settle in North America as far south as Martha’s Vineyard and even Oklahoma due to archeological evidence, also some natives having nordic dna. Many stories conclude that the natives simply chased them off, I read one where a Viking offered a native milk but because natives were lactose intolerant, the natives thought the Vikings were trying to poison them.
Also there are stories of the Chinese and Polynesians going to the Americas before Columbus arrived too.

After which the elders listened with respect because he was a guest. Then head chief began to relate their story of origin and the Great Spirit who encompasses ALL! As the preacher listened he got VERY ANGRY AND TOLD THE HEAD CHIEF THAT IT WAS NOTHING BUT A CHILDRENS STORY AND IT WAS EVIL!

I have been on mission trips with my church to native American reservations, one in the Navajo nation of Arizona and another in the Cheyenne reserve in Montana. I was there with my youth group to run some church camps for the children living in poor areas and we helped with some random labor like repairing some roofs, painting houses, or making concrete walkway/patio for some houses and a church. More importantly we were there to represent Christ and share our faith with them, but I do always feel like I missed out not having the chance to ask them more about what they believe and cool/unique things about their own tribes. I was only at each place for a week. Everyone who encountered us were grateful for our help and the children in the camp had fun, so it was a good experience. These reservations can be in some places like 3rd world countries without running water/electricity for most of the people, I hope the Cheyenne and Navajo will be able to make the most of what they have left. Maybe one day I will get to visit them again and find out more about them.

Why are you so arrogant as to assume that they would want or need your faith? The problem with christians is their unbelievable arrogance in thinking that they somehow have gotten the religion thing right while everyone else has it wrong. In my opinion, they are all wrong, as I am an atheist, but bottom line, you christians have no business at all interfering with the beliefs of others.

Comparing Native American Reservations to third world countries is a generic stereotypical narrative. Some Native American Reservations like my Tribe's Reservation is a paradise and what is left of our homeland. Christians missionary workers fail to see that many Native Americans have abandoned the Christian religions they were forced to practice as children attending residential boarding schools. These Native Americans now practice their own cultural and traditional Indigenous spirituality in their Indigenous Native languages they were once forbidden to speak.

It's a difficult subject as facts and information are often far to thin. There most certainly hasn't been enough study of Indian populations and disease. To just assume that the Indians lived without disease until Europeans brought it is definitely overly simplistic. All the empty Indian villages the Pilgrims found, once such evidence that exists is more closely examined, can't be assigned to the forms of disease the Europeans brought, though most likely those existed in American long before the Pilgrims. The Pilgrims were by no means the first to arrive in New England. The same applies to Indians populations in Mexico, and there have been studies there that show the large and sudden population declines were due to native disease, and that disease was something that may well have produced very large drops in Indian population many times before we recorded any such declines.
I would also note that from a statistical viewpoint, evidence brought forth in this video is largely useless for the purpose of drawing any meaningful conclusions.
For the first twenty years of their stay in New England, the Pilgrims spent most of their time nearly starving to death, and this was also true, from what accounts that exist, that such a state of affairs was also true for the Indians most of the time. A working civilization that can feed a population capable of functioning at a higher and more productive level requires a large density of person per square mile than existed for those first 20 years.

Watch the movie, "Black Robe," if you want to see how a French priest was treated. Natives and Europeans could be savages with their ignorance of God's love as stated in the Bible at 1 Corinthians chapter 13. A small answer to big questions:
It has been said that "there is nothing more ugly than a Christian hypocrite." My dear friends, why is the oppression of native Americans so wrong? Is it not because they and all humans are made in God's image and delighted in by him? Christianity is supposed to mean one who believes in Jesus. But it has come to mean, as Judaism and Islam, a religion, culture and ethnicity instead. Really though, a "Christian" is not someone of a certain ethnicity or a specific culture, but someone who has Jesus (same word as Joshua, which means I AM [the God of Israel] saves) as their King. Western Culture is not perfect, but it is not perfect only by the Bible's and Jesus' standards. Western Civilization is condemned by the very values which it has given. Our good judgment and condemnations of these things come from our western values, which come from the "Christian" religion.
I say this to say, you condemn rightly these atrocities, and so does the God of the Bible. He is the one who has created all people and given them each their specific cultural identities. He loves and delights them, they are his beloved children and made in his image. He does not wish to destroy culture, but to see it flourish! This is partly why he offers redemption in Jesus from all that has hindered and bent our humanity. We are all made in the image of God, which is why we create and love, because that is what God does! Our image of God was distorted however, leading to all of the anti-creation and anti-love that we see in our world and history! Jesus is the true human, the perfect image of God, and when he offers himself to us it is so that he may give us new life into the way that we were all intended to be!
What does it mean to be human? It means to receive and to give! To receive God's love and blessings and to give them out! This is who God himself is being trinity! Jesus eternally receiving love from his Father and giving it back to him with their connection so alive he is another person! Their intimacy with each other so wonderful that they are one; even as husband and wife are one. Not two halves but two wholes! The Hebrew word translated "God," is Elohim, which actually means "gods." The reason that it is translated singular as "God," is because the singular-person verb is always used when the God of Israel acts! But when referring to pagan gods the grammar matches (Singular subject, singular verb etc). Though His name is plural, He always acts as one. Except in the one case of Genesis 1:26-27, when God create Man in his image; "Let us make man in our image... So God made man (singular) in his own image, in the image of God he made him (singular) male and female he made them (plural)." So man's plurality-oneness reflects God's plurality-oneness! and It is out of this life, joy, love and generous abundance that God's love overflowed into creation.
While there are many different ethnicities and cultures, we are all one human race. While there is amazing diversity, there is also marvelous unity. Look at a forest, what do you see? Complete diversity (earth-sky, water-dirt, tree-rock, bug-deer, grass-flower) and yet together it just "fits." It all makes sense, forming one picture. One might ask, where do we fit in? Humans seem to be the one life-form that is discontent with its' role and place. One might imagine that, with all of our abilities and faculties, we would be the most at peace, satisfied, joyful, alive creatures on the planet, but why are we the most disruptive instead?
We receive from God daily our breath, muscle contractions, heart beats and food digestion. Do we consciously do any of these things? He blesses us with taste to our mouths, music to our ears and beauty to our eyes! Would he really do this if he hated us? If he finds delight in torturing us, why not make it more painful and obvious? Why try and be subtle with the mixture of good things with bad? Why would he care what we think if he enjoys punishing us? Or does he just get a kick out of watching our confusion and chaos? If evil, why not just be evil and make it obvious? Make us his objects of torture. But if good... What if he really wants to give us good things? If he really loves us for who we are because he made us? What if evil is not his creation but anti-creation instead!? "Sin" is just that, anti-creation, anti-love, anti-logic, anti-everything of goodness and substance! That is why sin is so bad, because it is the one place where God cannot be- anti-reality! But is has corrupted our perspectives, so now we do not see things as they really are.
In offering himself to us, he makes a way to save us from the twistedness within us (though not around us, not yet). He hopes that we will allow him to join us to himself in a spiritual union! Graft us into himself so that we may become more and more like him! Receiving more and more love, and giving more and more love! He makes us more and more like himself, we become more human! To do this just means to receive and submit to him. Receive his love, blessings and salvation, and obey him as knowing what's the best for us! Which means turning away from what is non-human and receiving his power to be true humans!
Those of the broad ethnic, cultural and religious "Christianity," are disgustingly not often proof of the truth upon which it was based. Please know those who hate people and culture hate Jesus and his creation. One is not a true-human who says they are, but one who really is! I really hope that helps :) Jesus really is a wonderful King and friend. It hurts him (and me) when he is misrepresented so terribly. I wonder what the world would be like if more embraced his blessings!?

😂😂😂The First People children were taken from their families and forced into boarding schools established by Christian or Catholic missionaries. As a requirement of their education at the boarding schools, the children attended mandatory church services and religious indoctrination classes. These children were either encouraged - or in most cases, forced - to abandon their Native spiritual practices as well as their unique indigenous first and last names.¹² In the name of religious progress, “Native children were forced into government-sponsored denominationally run boarding schools where many were abused physically, sexually, emotionally and spiritually, and where many of them died. The rallying cry to civilize/Christianize Indigenous children was ‘kill the Indian, save the child.’”¹³

Heck, just never said to force people out of their culture and way of life. Even if a native was to become a Christian, they still keep their last names, as well as still be part of their own culture and traditions. FYI - I'm a Native American. I have my own BIA payroll number. There is currently literature, within our family, that trace our ancestry back to the Mad Anthony Wayne era here in Indiana, and our family lines show that our family has been very religious in the past. There are both Pastors who lived within their church and home, and before that the blood line shows both chiefs and Native American religiously titled individuals. Your time frame, and dating period, would appear correct for the "big push" into Christianity.

Calvin Snow that is not what it means, it means that we must put Jesus 1st, not placing ourselves or those people whom we love and are important to us before Jesus, for example if you have a parent that doesn't want you to accept Jesus as the son of God to follow him than we are to choose Jesus over that relative to not only receive external life but to obedient and be an example for our loved ones...it is not a scripture of hate but a scripture of put Jesus first just at it states seek God's kingdom first Matthew 6:33

I have been around this block before. It is either the word of god or its is not. If I need a secret decoder ring, no one has sent it to me. You are thinking of verses in Matthew and not reading Luke. Read what Luke wrote. Hate your family. A few verses down you will be told if you do not forsake all, you can not follow Jesus. I'm a girl.
we are apocalypsing. usually the birth takes place in the Kingdom. the Enuma ellis tells some. I got born while incarnate and the apocalypse began 24 years ago. it's all going through now. we are at the most difficult and informational of it. I'm the first to be born while incarnate. the Kingdoms are now on earth. all of them. all 26 Fathers are present. there are 26 original races. obey your knowing is the best advice. men know in their breast. women can trust their intuition. this is the ride the waves time.
