Korg really pulling an iPhone with you can have your own wallpaper now 🤣 they really needed to top the pricepoint at 500. I think you should get a performance/dj style mixer for crossfading before you get a kaoss replay, I say this as a korg fan.

Looks kinda cool and I love Korg, but their new releases have definitely been on the expensive side. I also think $599 would have been more palatable, $699 tops.

Maschine mk1 crushes the best mpc the lack of latency is wild it’s soooooo fast a responsive I’ve always wanted one but I’m all in on elektron now

@@synthsamuraiproductions problem is usually not with the MPC it’s the amount of options the thing gives you at your disposal it’s like finding something good to watch on Netflix. If you go at it and just toss some drums breaks and do some sampling into the machine is when the mpc magic happens. I had the one and got rid of it for sampler with less options and I am able to focus more on just making music. Feel like I would actually enjoy the mpc now a days and I would gladly buy again if one cheap cheap popped up.
The kaoss replay is wack af I tried it and it’s literally a kaos pad kp4 which u can get for a hundred bucks it’s just not for everyone I got a mini and Idk where it is or really care the fx are cheesy ,ezbot is the master of elektron and the rmx500 is such a better choice for sound and live fx but good luck getting it

I’m less mad about the price and more mad about all the stupid cables they chose. USB-c but that you can’t use any usb-c battery to charge is stupid. Micro USB for data is stupid. RCA is mid.
Too bad this is a flop cause kaoss pads are loads of fun to jam on and they really needed an update.
But still, for $1k it’s competing with the Akai force that can do all that and more.
Also kinda competing with digitak 2 on sampler side but that’s a bit different.
