Might be good to have killing Grelod outright like in Vanilla incur a murder bounty, since it seemed kind of silly that killing her in such a way is ignored by the riften Guards as well as to give further incentive to using the more covert means of assassination.
There are 2 factors that could explain why you don't get a bounty for killing Grelod. Like in Riften, Grelod have this reputation that is well known among everyone, including the Guards. Also the Guards in Riften have their own reputation of being corrupt, like the first time the player goes to Riften a Guard tried to scam them. So can imagine the Guards looking the other way for allot of crimes, especially if it happened to someone they don't like

The only issue is that the 'thief-like' arrest of Grelod stops 'destroy the brotherhood' questline (and triggering the Penitus Oculatus mod), and access to the Stone of Barenziah in the sanctuary.
Jay this is by no means a request, but have you thought about touching the Companions and Bards College questlines at all? Seeing as you did the College and now Dark Brotherhood(kinda) I was wondering if overhauling the other in game factions was something you were considering?
Well there are patches to have his skyrims got talent work with Become a Bard Reborn, and BA Bard songs. All the buffs and debuffs from his mod apply to playing the songs from Become a Bard as well.
This is incredible... Probably the best work I've seen done with voice lines, did you manually splice the voicelines, use AI to synthesise the voice lines or a mixture of both?
May I make a suggestion perhaps for a future expansion mod? One thing I've always found odd was that despite having close ties to the Dark Brotherhood, if you choose to destroy them, Maven Blackbriar has no reaction to losing one of her assets. Is she nervous of losing one of her crucial means to an end? Does it make no difference to her? What would she think if you destroyed them while being a member of the Thieves Guild? Would she try to punish you somehow? Just a suggestion for your consideration.
It’s amazing how modders can splice lines of dialogue to come up with something completely new, yet Bethesda can’t be bothered to do the same with the creation club. Awesome job, makes me want to play Skyrim again…
She's one of those NPCs you got a raise and gut just a few times for good measure... Just like Nazeem, Rolff Stonefist,Narfi,Arvel the Swift and a few others. I made in entire hit list of NPC's to torment until Elder scrolls 6 comes out😂

Just an idea, have you ever thought about using the line splicing to maybe add more dialogue for the children to make them more unique? I find myself adopting one boy and one girl, bc I can’t stand having it sound like my poor child is talking to themselves if I get two boys/girls. This video just made me think of it :)

Is there a way I could speak with Edda in Riften to get her to kill Gelrod? There always seemed to be some hidden story between the two as Edda will attack Gelrod if Gelrod is found outside. I wish I could donate to the orphanage after the quest. I always feel bad for them.

This is great! Finally, there's a way around the the silly fact that Constance lets you adopt a child after witnessing you murder someone. You can even still do the murder, but without any witnesses, so it actually makes sense now.
What mod are you using for the appearance of the children? I usually use RS children but honestly I like the look of the mod you're using because it looks quite diverse. Edit: nevermind, based on research I believe that this is the realistic children overhaul for RS children. . .I forgot about it's existence ngl and didn't give it much thought when it first came out but perhaps I'll give it a chance now :)
