Thanks for the review. We bought this Nammi Box with the 42kWh LFP battery. We live in the Netherlands. That turns out to be an awesome EV. At the moment, at around 3 degrees celcius, we do 100km with 11.3kWh, which is very efficient. We get around 340km on a full charge, probably due to the small 42kWh battery and 95hp motor it is no speed racer. To get around the "bings and bongs", befor start i go to the drivers assist menu and set the bottom 3 things off. That kills the Chinese lady that warns us of stuff. The Nammi Box Launch edition was in Netherlands €23.400, (minus subsidy €2950 was €20.450). Weight is 1330kg which is leight for an EV, is over 4 meters and very specious. Luxurious, with heated AND cooled driver seat, feels high quality and solid. For Dutch viewers i made a review in Dutch for this EV. We 100% dont need heat pump with our temps. ruclips.net/video/qJ0GXToDMWc/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Here in the Netherlands people are reporting that the Dongfeng Box has really low energy consumption, around 12kwh/100km in November. Hopefully thats not just an outlier, we really need more efficient cars, thats never going to be the brick shaped e-c3.
Today we did a 80km roundtrip to in NH, normal speeds always to the limit of what was allowed. Mainly 60km and 80km roads, no highway, 6 degrees, light rain, average 11.4kWh per 100km. So, it is indeed very efficient. Overall, after 2700km we are still at 12.1kWh. That is with 25% highway.
I also own a Dongfeng Box E3, the workmanship is good, the consumption is low even in December, but it is a huge car, comparing it to the BYD Seagull is nonsense, it will be more like a Dolphin in size, the Seagull is small, less equipped and the price should be the same or more , it just doesn't stand a chance against Nammi 01. The only thing I think will beat the Nammi 01 might be the Geely Geome Xingyuan if it comes to Europe at a similar price.

@@3dilawan269 But you have an NMC battery, I don't understand why you are confusing it between two cars that have an LFP battery, the Seagull is simply a class worse car than the Dongfeng Box
Interesting. Not really heard about this model. Would be interesting to see how it compares to Dacia Spring, eC3, and Inster which are all below or same price.
Thanks for the review.

That's awesome. I'd love to come and see it. I'll also be going to see the one in Kristiansand to film with it.

@@BMWHP2 That really is game changing efficiency, especially in autumn/winter. Thanks for the update.

When is the seagull coming to uk
Does it have antirust coating?
no uk release date and when i search europe it states end of 2024 lol
We live in the Netherlands, own a Dongfeng Nammi Box since first week November and have over 3000km on the ODO. Great EV.
i love chinse cars
i am not chinse they good for poor people
Richer folks looking at those high end Chinese EVs are pondering the same.
Byd is overpriced in Europe due to pack of competition.
