This performance and album proves how great they truly are, if "No More Hell to Pay" didn't already prove this point. Not many bands can or have achieved this level of musicianship 30 years after their start. It is quite impressive. Their sound and their message. . .I friggen love these guys!
I followed Stryper through the 80s when I first saw the video for Calling On You. The awesome ballad Honestly made me buy To Hell With The Devil. Other bands I listened to at the time were Dokken, Kiss (70s and 80s), Ratt, Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister and WASP and Def Leppard. To Hell With The Devil (the song) hits you right between the eyes. AWESOME song. Of course I knew the singles Free, Honestly and Calling On You...but the TWO songs that got my attention off this album were The Way and More Than A Man. Those 2 were easy 10's. Ended up buying Stryper's first 2 releases and loved the ballads First Love and Together As One. Then came In God We Trust. The title track, Always There For You, I Believe In You, The Reign and Lonely ( which should have been the 3rd single have

What I like about this is the rawness. Appropriate setting in an unfinished basement. Nice job to detail. I also like the ode to the yellow and black. Subtle, but it's there. Nice groove that just cries out to band your head. The music has matured along with the band. Thanks for sticking around to continue to please the ears. Amen +Paul! Stryper was killer back in the day. They turned MTV on it's ear. 30+ years later, they are rocking even harder. Fallen is such a great album too! I just saw them last week and unlike most music nowadays, they were spot on perfect in concert! Michael's voice never broke once and OZ Fox must have gotten guitar lessons from God himself. He's humble about it too. I told him he'd give Eddie VH a run for his money and he said, "Oh no, not me, I'm just a regular guitar player in a band". I love these guys! All gentlemen and total class act all the way.

DGMW, To Hell With The Devil, was and is a great album. This however, far surpasses it musically, (Yahweh alone makes this an album, every metal band to ever take the stage, absolutely shoots for, (a tune of that magnitude, quality, and scope), with crazy tempo changes, amazing vocals, & at over 6 min. long, it feels like a 3 min. tune, INCREDIBLE!), but few, very few ever achieve. 'FALLEN', like 'NMHTP' before it, is masterfully produced, and these 2 are easily the best music the band has ever done. (In most fans, and critics' opinions.)

I just found this song yesterday. I have been a fan of Stryper ever since they came out with the Yellow and Black Attack album back in the early 80's. It was AWESOME to find this song, which to me, is one of the best songs they have wrote, and released, in a long while! It's more along the lines of what they did on the Soldiers album, and To Hell with the Devil. I've been waiting for a long while for them to put out something heavy again, and with this song, they did not disappoint! Please guys.....I know as musical artists, you want to continually branch out and do something different, I'm a musician, so I totally get that, but to me, ........this is what Stryper does best!! Please keep writing more songs like this for future albums! 👍

I've loved these guys since the 80's, met them all twice and got to hang out with Tim a few different times. They're all great guys, great players and the last 2 albums have rivaled anything they've done. Simply awesome! How many other bands can top their classic works, as well as having all original members?!
I own every stryper cd but this new one Fallen is the most tight Judas priest guitar sounding cd they have made its a 9/10. one of their best if not the best cd of stryper career.

Please guys.....I know as musical artists, you want to continually branch out and do something different, I'm a musician, so I totally get that, but to me, ........this is what Stryper does best!! Please keep writing more songs like this for future albums! 👍
Micheal Sweet has the best voice hands down...such a talent...
One of the many things that makes this song so awesome is that Robert's drumming is brought up front in the mix. The man is so tight on his timing. Whew!

I've loved these guys since the 80's, met them all twice and got to hang out with Tim a few different times. They're all great guys, great players and the last 2 albums have rivaled anything they've done. Simply awesome! How many other bands can top their classic works, as well as having all original members?!

I own every stryper cd but this new one Fallen is the most tight Judas priest guitar sounding cd they have made its a 9/10. one of their best if not the best cd of stryper career.
