Could you use view templates for staging of projects? For example, sketch design then construction plans? So you draw up on set of plans and apply the view template to hide or show detail depending on the purpose of the plans?
Great video, a simple question, how do you reset all the changes from your template to the previous state ? let's say you do not want to have thant particular look anymore.
Hi from Costa Rica. Does this custom view template is perminant in the template when opening a new project? Or is it saved only to the current project?
Hi, thank you for the video. I am new at this and trying to figure out the difference between APPLY view template and ASSIGN view template dialogue boxes. Can you please explain?
Please can someone ask me how to have all the views over the screen where I draw as him in the video? To change my view (3D, Sud, First Floor...) i always must to go in project browser, but in this way I m very slow. Thanks
Nah, the first software that can successfully provide design capabilities and provide smooth transition into BIM will succeed. Even Autodesk states revit is not a design suite.
What's the difference between using the project browser for creating and applying view templates vs. using the view template button in the properties panel?
