Thank you cole tool centre for this video I was searching how to setup my foot pedal for use as the marking button and you just blurted it out as soon as you started the software, it was exactly what I needed and now am using it to mark all my tools with my logo.
I have noticed that this type of machine has no covers on it. Is this dangerous? What if you slip and get your hand in the way? Also do you need to wear goggles when marking stainless or aluminium? Thanks for the video!
Goggles yes. You can look up videos of people putting their hands in front of the fiber laser and it not doing anything. This is even with those 1000w rust remover laser "guns". If you put your hand in front of a co2 laser you will get torched. lol

I have the same machine but it only shows 1 red dot laser where do i setup settings to show 2 red dots get them aligned and show the red border where font will engrave? Thank you

Is seem the frequency the fibre laser uses has little or no effect on skin there are video's on RUclips with people putting there hand in the beam. I tried marking acrylic, the aluminium underneath was marked with no effect on the acrylic.

Yes this can deep engrave most metals. I am unsure on the model sorry. Make sure if you buy a machine they sell you software hardware suitable for Graphix not just text if you intend to do any ROTARY engraving.

I purchased from alibaba and imported as a sample to check quality and performance if you are in Australia I would be interested in selling my demo machine.
I seems to be OK but I only purchased as a demo machine to see how it performs and decide if I wanted to import. So I do not use very often and have my demo machine for sale.

If you are going to purchase and want to use the rotary chuck with "graffic" confirm with the supplier that it will do graffic on rotary correctly without leaving lines the software they surplied with my machine was supposed to be capable but after a long period of trying the said I had to upgrade the main board and software to do graffic on rotary table without leaving lines when it rotated to next position. Rotary text is OK.
Most pet tags are anodized aluminium which you can do with a much cheaper co2 laser the fibre laser is for marking directly on metal like stainless steel

Does this machine also cut ?
I would say no in practical terms with many many passes it will get through very thin material say "aluminium can"
50w 60w 100w can cutting 0-1mm metal sheet.
@@Graemecns it does. takes multi passes.. looks like crap. if you want cutting buy a cnc plasma cutter
You need at least 200-250 watts to cut aluminum, so you are in the CO2 laser range.
