    The problem of battery rental is great, no worries about battery-related problems when using it, get a voucher of $ 3,000 for only $ 38,000, and also receive income tax reduction when buying an electric car, which can be charged at the system system of Electrify America. 10 year warranty is great !!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

      When they finish building the factory in NC in 2024, they will have more options to buy batteries. But I still think it's more profitable to rent a battery to keep the cost down and not risk having to pay the $22,000 bill to replace the battery like Tuomas Katainen and he blew up the car himself!!!

    VF8 is a stylish premium all electric SUV with high tech features, sold at an affordable price of under $30K after the credits. The price excludes the battery whose price could be up to $20K depending on the battery types. This means all VF8 buyers will pay no tax for the battery. Also, leasing the battery with roughly 1 - 3 bucks/day will help VF8 drivers avoid paying a lump sum payment up to $20K for the battery, and they could use this money up to $20K for other financial investments to make profits. Affordable EV VF8 helps save money!

      @@thev5140 I have never talked about China in my comment, but since you mentioned it, let's talk about China. You wrote, "China's technology has surpassed, but Chinese cars have not been sold worldwide"? Are you ok? Have you taken your medications yet? The way you approached the topic proved you intelligent and well educated. However, your totally confusing comment clearly betrayed your intelligence and education. Only crazy people say cars with great technology cannot be sold globally. Also, "Vinfast bought technical products. of European and assembled in Vietnam"? According to reports, Tesla is Lotus engine-based, and 50% of Tesla Model 3 components are from Canada/US, 25% from Mexico, and the rest are from other countries. Elon Musk just puts them all together, OK! You also wrote, "A well-reviewed car must have been in the international auto market for at least 15 years or more, vinfast not qualify for international vehicle market yet"! That has been the most ignorant comment EVER posted on RUclips. Here is the reason. Tesla is now the leading EV maker in the world. Did you know Tesla began production of its first car model, the Roadster sport car in 2009? It was followed by Tesla Model S sedan in 2012, Model X SUV in 2015, Model 3 sedan in 2017, and Model Y crossover in 2020. Now use your brain, do some simple calculation and tell me which one of Tesla Models has been on international auto market for 15 years or more? Go ahead!

      @quetoicattrangbienxanh6646 2 года назад +4

      @@thev5140 Did you know China had about 450 electric car companies? Sadly, none of them had even one good car that has made the headlines around the world as Vinfast. Did you know Chinese billionaire Xu Jiayin-chairman of Evergrande Group, had invested over $6 billion in making electric cars but failed miserably? Last year, Evergrande collapsed and became the world's most indebted property company with more than $300 billion in liabilities, which almost destroyed the entire economy of China. Did you know it took 70 years for Chinese billionaire Li Ka-shing to create his empire of over $80 billion. However, it took Vietnamese billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong-the owner of Vinfast less than 20 years to create the same amount of money. A Vietnamese proverb says, "A frog sitting at the bottom of a water well, sees the whole sky as the mouth of the well." Also, before comparing Vietnam with China, you need to fully understand the history of both countries. Through its 5,000 year history, Vietnam had triumphantly defeated all 7 mighty Chinese empires/dynasties (Qin, Dong Wu, Han, Song, Ming, Yuan, Qing) and sent them all one by one with their failed attempt to assimilate the Vietnamese, back to their mainland China. Even China was later agonizingly defeated and completely conquered by the unbeatable Mongol army, which by contrast was bitterly defeated not once but 3 times by the resilient Vietnamese people. The Chinese had totally failed to defend their country against the unbeatable Mongol army; how could China become a global superpower? If having learned that the Chinese Empires had been bitterly kicked out of Vietnam after their illegal occupation of Vietnam for 1,000 years, the mighty Mongol Empire would have never even thought of invading Vietnam.

    Vinfast released the Canadian pricing and these done stand up welll for a top model VF8 vs Top trim Ioniq 5 or EV6. Especially when you factor the Battery subscription and range. Not Sure waht VinFast looked at when deciding the prices. Kia ev6 top trim, after federal rebates comes to about 59k cad.
    Vf8 top trim after federal rebates comes to about 56k cad. Plus 139 cad per month for battery.

    Wow! I must say that I am quite impressed with this particular model EV SUV, and as always your presentations are top-notch, so shout out to you for doing this video as I mostly see you doing these Supercar type videos, and I was wondering what is Supercar Blondie doing a video of what most would call a mass production commercial vehicle for the masses, and when I saw the V8 I said what in the world are they thinking, because I was thinking it was a petrol car, so I’m glad you cleared that up, because I was about to turn this off, and then you explained that this is an all Electric vehicle, and so I was really surprised to hear that, and for you say that this car is coming from Vietnam, an interesting place that we in the states don’t hear too much about in the news, and the fact that they’re gonna open a plant in North Carolina, that’s even more surprising because most of these guys wanna start in California, now of course you didn’t cover how to actually buy one of these, I don’t think, so maybe you might wanna follow up with a video showing the buying experience of their first customers, but overall I like this vehicle, it’s not a Tesla, but they were clearly influenced by Tesla in how they have set up this vehicle, and I currently drive a Tesla, so I probably wouldn’t buy one, because Tesla is just so far ahead of everyone else, and we have an exclusive network of Tesla Superchargers for now, but this is a good first entry into this US market, and certainly based on the pricing of this vehicle, I think they will do well! So thank you for posting this video, and keep up the good work, and kudos to you, and your crew, and look forward to seeing you in the next video! Cheers!🥂

      Your comment is so misleading.
      Firstly, the Vietnamese communist-run Vinfast / Vingroup is severely lacking capital. They had to use their real estate assets as collateral to borrow money to fund the construction of a small battery assembling factory in Hà Tĩnh.
      Secondly, they are having a huge excess in assembling capacity in socialist Viet Nam. Their factory in Hai Phong is operating at less than 10% of capacity and it's getting worse since they had to stop assembling petrol cars.
      Thirdly, Vinfast has virtually no tech, no reputation in the car industry. They are at the level of assembling.
      Why would a loss-making company with no tech, severe lack of capital and having excess capacity like Vinfast like to make a big $4 billion investment in building another assembling factory in a high cost environment? It's just a red herring ...and a big one that is.
      So far, after a lot of talks, Vinfast / Vingroup comes up with nothing concrete.
      Meanwhile, the Korean carmaker Hyundai has just signed an official agreement to build $5.5 billion plant in Georgia.

    The thing is the lease on the battery is $35 - $40 a month and they start charging mileage after 310 miles, once you hit 311 miles they start charging $.11 a mile and all this is depends what size battery you get for the monthly charge. I've heard they have one that is unlimited for $110 a month for the life of the battery and once the battery degrrades down 70% they will replace the battery for free. I'm not about it yet and with the suv for $41,000 without the battery have car payment, lease battery payment and the mileage charge on top of that and that is not including charging cost at the station. All of that adds up here.

    • @cmarkbernal
      @cmarkbernal 2 года назад +7

      How much are you paying in gas per month right now? Most likely you're already paying a portion of the battery lease and will still reduce gas expense.

    • @jilldawson89
      @jilldawson89 2 года назад +5

      If you buy other EV cars and when you need to replace the battery, you have to pay nearly 80% of the price of the new car for the replacement battery. That is not good since the value of your car goes down over the year, and EV cars depreciate faster than gasoline cars.

    • @mikeinsugarland
      @mikeinsugarland 2 года назад +8

      Most EVs that has the same power, AWD, leather seating, 20" wheels, etc.. as VF8 will go at least around $55K - $48K -$3K voucher, you are looking at 10K difference. You can drive 9yrs with that and will have your battery replaced twice free of charge. This new model of pay as you go will take time to get use to but it will save money in short and long terms as well.

    • @cmarkbernal
      @cmarkbernal 2 года назад +2

      @@jilldawson89 I don't think that's true re EV cars lose value faster than ICE. They are certainly holding their value now. People are selling used EVs and making slight profits these days. And some of the used EVs are same prices of brand new EVs.

      I actually have a VinFast electric scooter, not exactly the same, but the rental option for the battery is the same concept. at first i was skeptical, but after using it for a year, i find the rental is much better. Easy to swap batteries, and no worries about the battery "going bad". Overall, the cost is much better than gas, and its a nice little ride for getting around town!

    I saw the launch of all their EVs, and have to say that they are covering most of their bases, however, as far as the masses are concerned, once the "break-even" point has been reached and battery manufacturing is greatly reduced in price, the cost to the average driver has to at least half in cost. Not to mention the attention to charging facilities, for which Tesla is the only company that takes that into consideration.
