Amazing! Haiti in the 50's was clean-no piles of garbage and trash everywhere. The Duvaliers wrecked that poor country-unfortunately, the USA was complicit in that. Duvalier palyed JFK and LBJ like a violin-while the people starved.

Yes, even when I left in 65 it still was reasonable. By the time I first returned in 86, wow!houses piled on each other, walls all over the place. a very different Haiti from my childhood memories.

Yeah. All of you below saying “Haiti is filthy now” blah, blah, blah. If you’re Haitians, what are you doing to change it?

This entire world is heading on a downward trajectory there's no fixing anything because you can't force people to change, sadly you have to wait out until they get completely screwed by the consequences of their own actions

1)either you were born outside of Haiti

Merci d’avoir partagé ces photos-videos avec nous. Maintenant, please ask yourself : how can I be part of the solution?
Cette prise de conscience individuelle! Are you ready?
J’ai vécu 27 années en dehors du pays natal, je suis prêt à rentrer afin de contribuer au changement....nous, les enfants et petits-enfants, sommes la solution

hi MrAzdaz yousaid " Misery made by corrupt dictators propped up by the American government"? my parents were Haitian and it's amazing how black people around the world never want to take responsibilities for themselves. if it wasn't for white people interfering in black peoples life's, we would be flawless. black people would have no disease, no pain, no worries. LOL
