Biggest need for me is a DT, we need some push up front to get Allen and Walker going. In doing that it makes our secondary better and more chances at picks. I’m good with Graham with the first pick
It doesn’t matter what superstar running back you bring in. Until you fix the 32nd ranked Run Blocking Oline it won’t matter. Anton Harrison has not just been inconsistent this year he’s been bad. 65/80 in run blocking.
Absolutely not, the best teams have Great trenches. We need to build the interior OL and DL. This is also a very deep RB class. Mason Graham would be a home run, thats gotta be the pick if hes available. I also like Will Campbell (as a guard). Those are really the only 2 trench guys worthy of a top 10 pick, outside of them Will Johnson. Pre Draft Free agency though i say we HAVE to go for one if not 2 safeties. Theres some high level guys (Holland, Baker, Hufanga), oh and why wouldnt you want to reunite Higgins with Trev.
Sign Charvarius Ward and Talanoa Hufanga to fix the defense and then sign Trey smith and Tee Higgins to fix receiving core and O-line. Draft Ashton Jeanty after trading back and picking up a 2nd rounder, then draft Tyleik Williams and Jonah Savaiivaea (but change his position to center to backup Mitch Morse and develop for a year) in the 2nd.
@@JaguarjagofficialI think it’s possible with saving cap space by cutting Kirk and other people to save money. We have like what 50 mil as it is right now and then with cap cuts we’ll have more
I am tired of teams like 49's, Lions and other's just totally demoralizing our offensive line time and time again. They get pushed around like rag dolls and can't open holes for our running backs or give our QB time to throw the ball. Lets get all offense. And Trent Balke must go he don't know line talent from a whole in the wall.
Drafting Ashton Jeanty is probably going to be an unpopular idea, but I've been thinking of him for the last few days too. I know the O-line needs to be a huge priority, but if we could trade Etienne for a pick, maybe we could get Jeanty and still have enough draft capital to get the O-line help we need. We probably need more help on the interior, and those guys can often be had in the later rounds.
Love it! Something I think fans should consider when talking about this is that it should be considered how rare of an opportunity this is to acquire a running back of this caliber. That’s not even mentioning how important running the ball has become in teams succeeding this year. The Jaguars need a major change in philosophy and drafting Ashton Jeanty, given you’re further back in the first round, immediately provides a massive upgrade. As Jordan said, throw in a Trey Smith or Tyler Booker to maximize his potential.
Just to put this into perspective, the jags had Natron Means and Stewart on the roster when they drafted Fred Taylor. There are certain guys you do not pass on and Jeanty is one.
I think it was the Jets who didn't throw was the reason we got Trevor. So yeah. Throw these games, get that 1st pick. Trade down a time or two to the 4th, 5th or 6th spot. Pick up a next year 1st and more 2nds this year and we could be in business getting key players and cornerstone positions. You could turn those 2nds into late 1st and we could pull Wyatt Millum LT from West Virginia, Tyler Warren TE from Penn State and Jahdae Barron CB from Texas. Then Tyler Booker G from Bama and Emery Jones Jr right tackle LSU. Let em sit behind Walker Little, Ezra Cleveland and Anton Harrison and devolop.
I like jeanty but if we don't get some more beef on that O-Line unless it's Barry sanders running they won't get many yards. The interior of our line is either on the last year or two of their career or more of a finesse player. We need a few manuwai type O-Linemen. MJD told a story one time about how Manuwai used to tell him in the huddle stuff like "Hey get that ball and get behind me I'm about to get us to the end zone right now".
He is an outstanding player, but I wouldn't choose him over a few of the other options. I also think he would get killed running behind our oline. He needs to go to a team like Dallas.
@@a6i396It's just an idea until this ends up being the one video that the Jaguars brass actually watches and then they draft him and neglect the line and defensive backs again. Ashton Jeanty isn't fixing the trenches.
If they were to improve that offensive-line and draft this guy.. this would be like a garrad situation. But with a QB that loves to pin-point his throws. Rather than run on his feet. Yet T-Law can run the ball.
We don’t need Rb till day 3 I’m fine with taking monongai in rd 4 or 5 we do not need another day 2 Rb, just take Will Johnson, Tyler Booker, Xavier Watts, Alfred collins, Josiah Stewart/jared Ivey, Kyle monongai, Blake miller, in that order rounds 1-5
Absolutely not we should not draft a RB in the top 10. We have far more needs like DT, OL, CB and WR I’d take Graham all day. He’s an elite DT who can rush the passer also wouldn’t mind Williams or McMillan
Baalke rb's drafted in the 1st round requirements are long arms, 6'5", 250lbs, run a 4.3, and coming of a acl injury.
That does not sound like Ettienne at all and he was drafted first round lol
Biggest need for me is a DT, we need some push up front to get Allen and Walker going. In doing that it makes our secondary better and more chances at picks. I’m good with Graham with the first pick
I'd love Graham with our #1 pick everything starts with the lines
Him and Johnson are probably the best prospects
@@pascho1057 I definitely agree

If we trade Travis ETN you should be the general manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars
@@Yourfavoritesymphonytrading ETN was actually in my plan I just forgot to mention it😂. I like the thought of a Jeanty and Bigsby duo!

You never draft a RB in the first round. The talent difference between running backs isn’t big enough. The value is terrible.
Drafting him would be malpractice
Thank you
He reminds me of MJD, I would love to see him in Jacksonville, but I don't see us picking him.
Ashton Jeanty with Tank Bigsby would be a Fred Taylor & Maurice Jones-Drew 2.0!

And bring in T Higgins let’s go
And a corner and in free agency
would be good but what good corner will be available

1st round, i wouldn't do it, but i do think if he in the 2nd round would be a no brainer
Yes! Idc. I figured out a way to have ETN, Tank, and Jeanty. Trevor needs a stable backfield and solid OL.

Agreed. We need the TOP DT or WR.. if we can grab a elite OT or C.. this is where we stand.
This is a very deep DB class, chill out we can find DBs in this draft in later rounds.
gotta say i agree with you on most of your takes but i feel like rb1 and 2 are set with ettiene and tank. resign ettiene to a 3 year deal

Eye think we need to trade-up for T-Hunter. If we have two elite WR's.. we could be better off, than having Jeanty.
Jordan, what happened to the RB we drafted last year, that you were optimistic about?
With the many RB's we have in inventory, eye don't think they will draft a RB in the totality of 2025's draft.
