Those are all lovely! I love the one from New Zealand, but my all time fave is the Superior Labor len roll.....I just love mine soooooo much 😁 I'd say the feeling of it is worth the money 😋
I like the Galen leather cases.I have been using their cases for a while and they are very well made with nice thoughtfull detailing. The Omas arrived too and its has a lovely smooth slightly flexible M Nib that I really like, so much so that theirs another Omas in the postal system as we speak! Keep safe and mind yourself.
I have such an aversion to velcro, so it's good to know that the velcro on the 40 pen Galen case is not prohibitively off-putting. For context: I have had to wear large neck/back braces over the past 15 years, and while I am grateful for velcro's functionality, the sound is practically triggering for me now!
I have one pen case that I actually sat down thought over. All the ones I used during my high school days were ones that I saw at Walmart and thought looked nice so I tossed it into the cart. The one I use is a Lihit Lab one, and it has 2 separate zippered compartments. One holds my fountain pens and things like spare cartridges and what not because it's got a big mesh pocket with a couple little pockets. The other side is just a large free for all so I keep spare pens and such in there in case someone asks me for a pen :).
I love cases and pouches!!! Especially leather or pretty designs. I love the TSL brand. And you're right, they are pricey. So you are paying for a brand. I did go back and forth when deciding to purchase the roll and tool pouch. But I'm glad I bought them. 😁
I very much like the few Galen Leather products that I have, but I've been put off by the metallic zipper you seem to like so much. While I have not seen one in person, the pictures make the zipper look very aggressive - like it would abrade or mar anything it was next to in a brief case, luggage or backpack. Am I wrong in that? Thanks for all your videos and insights!
I remember when you got that second pen pouch and said you’d stop collecting pens when you’d filled it up! Haha, your collection must have grown 5 times since then! I’d love to get one of these pouches for myself, but I don’t have enough fountain pens to justify buying one just yet.
"Dog hairy" is a problem that I identify with. I could "build" a new dog every time I brush mine; so things with velvet are not my first option (= Do you use a stand or something else for the "desk" pens? I have used some that I made with reclaimed wood, based on the "desk organizer" model from Galen Leather. I made one of 6 holes for the inked pens, and another for 30 pens, which is inside one of the top compartments of my secretary desk, with my most used pens. When I travel, I don't carry a lot of pens, so a Galen Leather "Flap" 3 pen case is what I use. Thanks for the video.
I love your collection! I have the 10 slot Galen and a 24 slot one from Goulet (with a lot of room to still fill 😃). I have way more pouches than cases but the TSL roll and Hurlestone pouch are my favorites.
I am looking at buying another pen pouch 👝 but I don’t know where to go. I have seen a very nice Wancher that looks really good. Yours are so beautiful! The Galen leather ones are gorgeous but shipping it’s a lot for me right now.
Has anyone had any issues with Galen Leather staining their lighter coloured pens or vintage pens as well as tarnishing metal details on the pens. I'm looking to get one for my more expensive and celluloid vintage pens. I have had issues with tarnishing from a minky fabric lined pen pouches and I got some of my cheaper pens stained from a Franklin Christoph pen case so I'm quite worried about what to use to keep them safe and not tarnished during long storage.
I never considered journaling but after watching you I am thinking about it how do you keep up with all journals and what one to use at what time seems overwhelming to me you are amazing thank you
a mi también me gustan los estuches de piel con doble sujeción, es una lastima que el estuche de 40 galen no tenga doble elástico. un abrazo desde España.
I hate Velcro. It never stays clean at my house. Cat fur, lint, fuzzy stuff...and once stuff gets stuck it, it’s almost impossible to get it out. The Sendak waxed canvas rolls are nice. Waxed canvas and leather. I think they are marketed for art supplies, but really, you could use them for anything, including pens. Expensive, though.

I found this video while looking for pen cases and I love to see other women who are pen fans like me. This was a great video, thank you!
You are very organized. I am very impressed with all of your hobbies. Great video.
I enjoyed this, and the way you voice your comments.
Thank you 😊
Love this video. I also have a weakness for leather pen cases.
I agree that once you fall in love with fountains pens ,no he ballpoint will do. Excellent review. Thank you
You have a beautiful collection of Pen Cases! I just ordered the Galen Leather 20 Pen Case in the Crazy Horse Brown. Thank you for sharing! :)
Excellent review! Thanks a lot!

I looooooove your intro !!!!! I've looked at the 20 pen case, but I'd need like 3 now LOL mine just live in a simple amazon 48ct and some sleeves.

I have a Galen 3-pen pouch for EDC, a Girologio 4-pen Grab N Go, and two Speedball pouches for long term storage. Hoping not to go past this point.

What is the multi color pen you liked and showed? I work in Drs office and use 2-3 colored inks daily.
Good timing as am trying to decide on a first case 🙏. Also wondered whether you had seen the pouches on Etsy from “LifeCovers”?
A suggestion with the metal zips, rub lightly a small amount of pure hard beeswax on the zip and that should prevent them sticking
The smaller ones I regularly take are a Nock Co Lookout and a lot of different ones by Rickshaw.
I'm sure you've said it somewhere already, but how many fountain pens do you have, all told?

Can I ask why you don't like velcro?
Where is can find the same pen case?
All the companies are listed in the description
