@7mandoblu, Artists are always pinned up against one another and especially women and WOC (women of color) and it's sad and unfortunate but it's an industry protocol. It's hasn't been that much of a big daily lately with artist like Taylor Swift, Selena, Gaga and them because those girls love everyone but back in the day, it was normal practice for record exes to make sure there was some kind of shade being thrown at your fellow artist and courtesy of the one doing big numbers or on top.
One thing about Janet and Paula is they are both class acts. They always have respect for other people. I can not remember them ever having nasty diva moments like some artist like Madonna and Mariah Carey.

I just swarmed through the comments before posting my comments. I guess all Janet Demita Jo Jackson Fans know that Paula Abdul was her Choreographer during the rhythm nation tour.
Paula never worked on any of Janet's tours and by the time Janet was ready to tour, Paula was bigger than Janet and Madonna (1990). What you do see in the Rhythm Nation Tour is dance moves Paula came up with for Janet's videos originally. I believe Paula either became extremely busy working with other artists and or her affair with Janet's brother Jackie put a strain on Janet and Paula's friendship.

You're making it seem like 'dets'(details) but you're being extra messy and way-too-shady for your own good. 1st there was no such thing as anyone being bigger than anyone because everyone had things going on but if you want to state facts here we go. Paula only choreographed 4 of Janet's videos but remember Janet had to do promotional tours, appearances and so on. Janet's Control album was still making noise in the 90's up until she recorded Rhythm Nation and by then Janet was working with a slew of new and upcoming dancers/choreographers with Paula's blessings. Paula was venturing into her own career as a performer and still doing side jobs for movies and award shows and so on, so Paula was busy and if you didn't listen to her introduction for her friend, she credits 'The Jacksons' for giving a 17 year old Laker Girl (who graduated high school earlier) a big break for the song and video 'Torture'. Then she credits Janet who wasn't just a client but a friend (they lived together for some time while doing the videos) for introducing her to the world. Your going to bring up an affair that could have been innocent as two people talking but Paula was rumored to been dating Aresino Hall as well, so it's a slippery slope when you feed into and read gossip rags. I remember reading how Jennifer Lopes a.k.a. 'JLo' steamed up Janet's "That's The Way Love Goes" video so much that they had to cut her scenes down. When I read that I couldn't believe just how petty people try to be for nothing and stirring up drama like you. JLo was HOT then and still HOT now but her appearance in the video didn't overshadow Janet at all. It showed the world that Janet is one of those great women that love to see other people, especially other women shine as well. Remember Janet put her choreographer 'Paula Abdul' in 3 of the 4 videos she choreographed I have always heard that Janet is extremely shy and guarded but humble but has been one of the most natural dancers to grace a stage. Janet is a Jackson and she has been dancing since she was a tiny tot but doing full-on routines with her family since she was a bout 7 years old. I believe Paula either became extremely busy working with other artists and or her affair with Janet's brother Jackie put a strain on Janet and Paula's friendship.

You're making it seem like 'dets'(details) but you're being extra messy and way-too-shady for your own good. 1st there was no such thing as anyone being bigger than anyone because everyone had things going on but if you want to state facts here we go. Paula only choreographed 4 of Janet's videos but remember Janet had to do promotional tours, appearances and so on. Janet's Control album was still making noise in the 90's up until she recorded Rhythm Nation and by then Janet was working with a slew of new and upcoming dancers/choreographers with Paula's blessings. Paula was venturing into her own career as a performer and still doing side jobs for movies and award shows and so on, so Paula was busy and if you didn't listen to her introduction for her friend, she credits 'The Jacksons' for giving a 17 year old Laker Girl (who graduated high school earlier) a big break for the song and video 'Torture'. Then she credits Janet who wasn't just a client but a friend (they lived together for some time while doing the videos) for introducing her to the world. Your going to bring up an affair that could have been innocent as two people talking but Paula was rumored to been dating Aresino Hall as well, so it's a slippery slope when you feed into and read gossip rags. I remember reading how Jennifer Lopes a.k.a. 'JLo' steamed up Janet's "That's The Way Love Goes" video so much that they had to cut her scenes down. When I read that I couldn't believe just how petty people try to be for nothing and stirring up drama like you. JLo was HOT then and still HOT now but her appearance in the video didn't overshadow Janet at all. It showed the world that Janet is one of those great women that love to see other people, especially other women shine as well. Remember Janet put her choreographer 'Paula Abdul' in 3 of the 4 videos she choreographed I have always heard that Janet is extremely shy and guarded but humble but has been one of the most natural dancers to grace a stage. Janet is a Jackson and she has been dancing since she was a tiny tot but doing full-on routines with her family since she was a bout 7 years old. There was never no bad blood between these ladies, EVER!!!!
