Here is something you may not know. I just reached the end of Spring year 2 in my new 1.6 playthrough, and my crab pots started giving me Silver quality fish. It would appear as though they age similar to fruit trees OR it was because I put Deluxe bait in them... it wasn't random either, 100% of the fish came out Silver quality. How to get gold quality or higher? Maybe using different baits? or letting them age longer or something? I have no idea, but it freaked me out when i pulled up quality fish from the pots after years of never seeing that happen before. TLDR : Crab pots can give quality fish now. OP. Also the Dwarf statue buff for finding more coal AND prospector talent allow you to get HEAPS of coal from recycling.

You can use other things to protect your grass starters from being eaten so they can grow other than lightning rods. I place grass starters under fence posts, or those decorative hay bales from Marnie's. Make sure you spread them out but keep them close to your animal's barns, every day they have a chance of growing and it will help slow down their food consumption.
You forgot to mention that Farming Mastery can help get more xp quicker because of your iridium scythe, simply harvesting more crops gives so much more xp. Also regarding geode crushers not being able to get prismatic shards anymore, that's cuz the 'randomness' of the game has truly been made random. That being said, there is an option in the settings to turn back the 'calculated randomness' of previous updates meant for speedrunners.
The iridium scythe is genuinely the only thing I care about, having an actual way to not spent literally 10 minutes on ginger island farming is a godsend, thank you concernedape god 🙏🙏
Agreed and those books can be found just by playing the game (I learned this from another video not experience so maybe its true) but it's worth a shot might save your money too
Here's some more tips: Get the mushroom cave! It now comes with a free Dehydrator, in which you can place 5 of any positive mushroom or fruit in it to get dried shrooms/fruits. Great artisan goods when you have to offload a lot of shrooms and bush berries. And then there's raisins from grapes, which you preferably feed to your junimo huts to give them a chance to double-harvest, and possibly harvest faster, not sure about that last part. For this reason, I now have 5 grape starters in my greenhouse so I have a steady supply of raisins for 2 huts. And get the Fish Smoker asap too. Your fish will sell for double, including their quality, minus spending 1 coal for each use. I still have leftover fish from the Night Market because while I got a smoker from Lewis's Prize machine, I'm having a lot of trouble getting cave jelly to make my own. I'm rearing Lava Eels and holding out for a good luck buff to fix this. Place Mushroom Logs next to your wild trees to harvest even MORE mushrooms. Stick them between your tapped trees for better results. Blue Grass makes animal gain friendship twice as fast as regular grass (I got half way after just 18 days), and it grants more hay per harvest. BAIT MAKERS! Get one ASAP ASAP ASAP! Fishing specific fish in bulk has never been easier. A secret weapon for the 2 new fishing festivals. The book: Jewels Of The Sea has a chance to enable you get roe from legendary fish.
DONT USE THE BIG CHESTS YET!!!! Things have been disappearing in people's big chests for some reason. Concernedape knows about the bug and is working on a fix, but still, you'll lose some good stuff that way

the way i am, 1st year is focused on hoarding money, and gold upgrades. winter is for hoarding bars for quality sprinklers so i can hoard crops in year 2. frienship is as oppurunity arrises and bds that i can remember

By the mid/late game, yeah, you're just saving up for a handful of big-ticket items, and/or just amusing yourself with Number Go Up.
3:13 I just got the book new mid summer yr1, i had an infestation level in the mines at 16 so i kept going to 15, down to 16,clearing it, back to 0 and repeat and got it fairly quick! also got a wooden club with a slime slayer perk or smth.
Most books can be purchased from the Bookseller after year three, such as Monster Compendium and Jack Be Nimble. They appear in his inventory at random, but each day's offerings are seeded.
2:48 now Robin needs the same... I dont miss marnie that often and I dont need her as much as Robin. It feels like often when I want to build or do stuff Robin is never there haha. I am also currently rebuilding my farm and making it super nice. I have replaced a lot of buildings and every time I wanted to move something, but there was stupid tree seed or something in the way, by the time I came back she was gone again...

The only thing that could make this game better is native accessibility. We can get it through mods, which I’m perfectly OK with, but some people may not be comfortable with the whole modding system and would rather have it natively. I wish there was a way to reach the developer and explain this.

It's not super clear - but you don't start earning mastery XP until after obtaining level 10 in all skills, so save any books you find or buy to use for XP after!
Hi! What controller layouts do you use for ps4 controller on steamdeck ? I want to play coop using two ps4 controllers yet i can’t make it work (sometimes both controllers control P1 and other times no input is detected in both controllers)

Probably simplified code so people could swap things out more easily. He also made sure over 1000 mods works seamlessly with the game for 1.6 so he made changes so they could all work better, easier for creators, and be bug free
@@wendersonemanuel9377 he made things simpler for Modders and helped remove bugs to 1000 existing mods. Not exactly making more mods directly or any big quality difference you will see directly. Maybe a modder could provide specifics, but he probably handled a lot of bugs thus improving quality

SPOILER!!! It’s a trinket! You get them from killing mobs and i think mystery boxes? That one looks like a pink treasure chest and it gives you some regen when you’re in battle. I think there’s 6 in total with different abilities, there’s another super cute companion too :)
I’m not sure if they’re mob specific drops, I havent’t really looked into it but this is the one I have found the least so maybe she’s extra special 💕🧚♀️

You have to spend money to make money in Stardew. Hoarding gold is pointless, since spending it immediately offers you greater returns over time.

Tents should be just like any tool, but it is not as good as being in a bed but it can get better with other gear and possible future buffs and mods.

I had hardwood trees planted in the desert prior to 1.6. After the festival the trees were still there.
All my trees came back after the festival ended.
