Sell the JL and put that money on improving Sandy. Maybe name those future videos with Sandy as "The Road Challenged Me".
Sorry man, I really love your JKUR. My 2018 is similar in color and I want it to have a similar look to it as well. I just wished those Ursa Minor tops were cheaper...

That's what I had been thinking for so long, but where am I going to store it? How will I keep it in running condition when I'm off having world adventures in the Jeep Camper? if it sits for much longer it's not going to age well.

I think many of us that have the quirk of getting sentimentally attached to vehicles deal with the issue your having. My thought in your case is at least Sandy is in the shape to be enjoyed and adventured in by a lucky new owner if that is what happens. All to often so many sentimentally loved vehicles dont get that opportunity. So there is atleast a small consolation that Sandy will keep adventuring and put more smiles on faces in the future. And the money from her sale that lets you continue your dream of adventuring is also a nice consolation.

I think that this build is the best one you’ve done, as a Wrangler JKU is more capable than a Gladiator because of a shorter wheelbase. I like TJs a lot, but they are incredibly small. And, your current build is likely going to be heavy in comparison to Sandy.

With all the money put in you could drop in a new engine like Venture4wd. Even thought I am excited about your new build, I still think this is the best set up out of all the ones you have done. Cheaper insurance, no additional costs. If you wanted to get creative maybe see if there is some way to rent it out like airbnb or maybe make a deal with a tour company like here in AZ we have Barlow Jeep rentals in Sedona. I am sure they could get a good rate and prequalify the renters for you.

My life on the road started with a Jeep XJ, she hit almost 400K miles before I had to retire her, like you with Sandy, I have a great deal of attachment to "Green Bean" and haven't been able to sell her. I currently travel in (and live out of) a 4Runner but it hasn't been what I hoped it would be, perhaps I'm a Jeep guy. Now it tours the world with the help from Land Rover clubs.
3 of the 5 Jeep CJ 7s that did the Darian Gap in 1978 still are active with club members and draw a crowd where ever they go.
