Welcome to my Home State. Don't know what your plans are, but there bigger dunes to the north at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore. 100s of things to see and do in Michigan. The UP is fantastic. Over in Detroit is the The Henry Ford Museum (you would love it) and Greenfield Village. Have fun.
Not sure when this video was created, but you appear to be traveling through my home state of Michigan at the same time as Keith Rucker. I'm RVing to the Soo Locks (Sault Ste. Marie) in two weeks. Will watch the freighters and enjoy the fall colors at their peak. My RV is a 2018 Keystone Outback 328RL.
I live about 10 minutes from there. I go there all the time in the warmer months. I have a few spots in the north part of the park I like to tie up my hammock, stretch out in it and just decompress.
Those were the most perfectly round burgers I've ever seen. Be honest here, you turned those on the new Precision Matthews lathe before you left home didn't you? Maybe cut them out with the CNC mill? lol.
This is a great place. The dune have shifted over 45 years I have come here. An entire children’s swing set and skids got swallowed by sand near the campground.
A grilled bun makes the burger! Nothing worse than a nicely grilled burger served on a cold bun, a toasted bun is at least better than cold but a bun grilled on the burger grill is the only civilized way to serve a burger. Those burgers made my mouth water for one even at 11pm.
Welcome to Michigan! if you think warren dunes are big, make a plan to see Sleeping Bear Dunes. 460ish feet from the water to the top, and an incredibly steep drop-off.
You guys were there the same time we were and while we are from & love Michigan this was the first state park we've done in a camper and we thought it was horrible. As for space, price, amenities the comparison between Warren Dunes in Michigan and Potato Creek & Indiana Dunes in Indiana wasn't a comparison. You get 2 to 3 times the space for the same or better price and they have loads more things to do. We were highly disappointed in Warren Dunes

You kids are sending me down memory lane. My first tent camping trip was to Warren Dunes in 1970. Thanks for sharing.

Never once had I thought of turning the grill grates over and using them as a flat top; guess I didn’t read the instructions 😂. Awesome

Where can I find a grill plate like that? That's cool!
Go to Grillgrates.com They make those grates to fit any application.

You didn't climb tower hill?😒
