I'm guessing maybe the SD card is formatted to FAT32 which has a 4GB file size limit? Or maybe it has a corrupted file table so eventually it has to write to an area that is unwritable and it crashes the whole file. 🤔
Adam, Abby, Heavy Metal Machining Part 1 got me hooked and have watched every video on both channels since. (Abom79 took some heavy binge watching to catch up.) As a long-time viewer, have no doubt + Abby makes a dynamic duo. Have been hoping you will bring us along on your property development since you bought it. Was there a hint this would be the place? Merry Christmas to the dynamic duo and your family, Brian
hi ya. The recording hassles could be heat related, even in cold weather. I you are recording in 4K that is a very processor intense action that generates a lot of heat. To protect the circuitry, some manufactures set a max temp and shut down to let the sensor and CPU cool down. This was/is still an issue in the full size cameras where they could only operate for about 10, sometimes 20 minutes before shutting down. Also check your SD card for the capability write speed, ie mb/sec rate. The higher that number the better. Also avoid no-name cards from places like Amazon etc. Do you reuse your cards? They may be reaching their end of life - they WILL eventually be unusable. Always format the SD card in the device it is going to used in. Using a card formatted in another device could cause reliability problems. There is software that will verify actual capacity compared to stated capacity. I just returned what was allegedly a 4TB flash drive that only had 40gb usable memory. It is called Validrive and was created by Steve Gibson of Spinrite fame. It is a free program for Windows. I hope this helps. Cheers from the Land Down Under! Neville M
I will never NOT brine a turkey. I've done it 15 different ways. I've dry brined, I've just basic seasoned it, I've smoked it, I've wet brined, I've deep fried them. The best way is how I now do it and I've got 20+ people telling me I am the ONLY one they like turkey from now. 24 Hours in the brine, rinse, allow to dry in the fridge for 24 hours. Compound butter under the skin, rub on the skin. Cook at 325 until done....for my 20 pounder this year it was about 3 hours. As for cruises, try Virgin. We are planing our first Virgin cruise from HIGH HIGH HIGH recommendations from others. 18+ Only, no drink packages (you get a bar tab, that you can add to if needed, and it's PER ROOM). ALL restaurants are included, none of this "extra" cost. Yes, the Virgin price is a bit more, but the benefits? WAY better than Carnival, NCL, or Norwegian. Also almost EVERY room is a balcony or ocean view. Your "Serenity" deck is like the Carnival, but holy h3ll that Carnival "Serenity" deck is the worst thing EVER. Last time on a Carnival the Serenity deck was so crowded you literally could not move on it, it was like leaving a sporting event with 80,000 people leaving through one door. NEVER again.
Presentation makes a difference to our minds and it’s part of the enjoyment of the craft of cooking. It’s also better to have good presentation if you’re sharing it on social media pages.
You’re both very welcome to come to Jersey 🇯🇪 in the Channel Islands. Lots to see and happy to show you around 👍🏽

Are you still planning to come to Australia?
Honestly can’t wait for the house build. You guys might need to add another channel😊
Just wondering: Are you still planning to build a new house and shop at the lot you bought ? That cruise does sound nice.

Matt from the Diesel Creek youtube channel is building his house. Might be a good contact for ideas.

So great to be seeing you two again (although I totally understand about taking a break). I’m assuming you’ve seen the Hallmark Chiefs movie? ❤️💛❤️💛
Oh yea Abby insisted we watch it live! 😅

Presentation of the food, makes no difference to your stomach and body. Just eat. Sustainance.
