- Hi everybody,
Applying eyeshadow is not rocket science. But there are still so many details that make a huge difference!
I have so many ways that I apply eyeshadow! I sometimes can use a cream eyeshadow just to have a nice base to start with, other times I would use a pencil that I smudge then apply eyeshadow on top of that. If I wanna do a glossy eyelid I would apply first a waterproof cream eyeshadow , then simply apply lip gloss on top, or the Eight Hour Cream from Elizabeth Arden.
However, this is the easier, most simple technique I could show you. It can’t get easier than this , having the same effect.

Hi! I wanted to let you guys know that after I've applied the eyeshadow from ABH called FAWN, I did apply another one, also from ABH, called Hot Chocolate. I forgot to click "record" so I don't have that part filmed. But Hot Chocolate I've applied exactly the same way I did with Fawn. with the same MAC 221 brush. I just wanted to make the look a bit darker, but you don't necessarily have to do that. On the lower lash line I've applied the same colors I did on the mobile lid, in the exact same order.

Ali Andreea please everybody is talking about nose and face contouring but no one explain how to contour a large or hight forhead , can u do a one please .
Thank you for getting back to basics. Could you perhaps do a video on what colours suit different eye colours best ie what makes them pop. I always stay neutral which can be a bit boring sometimes. Also blusher, what colour for skin tone and also when wearing different shades of lipstick ie when wearing a red lip what colour blush is best? 😊
Yes I agree with all of the above. Sometimes I'll do my eyes really well then apply blusher and the blusher clashes with my eyes which is very frustrating!
You have a perfect canvas to apply eyeshadow on. I feel like I have so little eyelid space!

@@modaenity2618 , but then you can decorate, and highlight (not to be confused with using highlighter) your lids.
I have epicanthic fold 😂 Just a simple eyeliner and my eyelid is already gone 🤗

This is exactly my everyday makeup look. I don't have much time in the morning right before going to work so I do this whenever in doubt. You can never fail with this kind of makeup. You look gorgeous and fresh as always :)

Yes! I finally know what I am doing wrong! I am one of those that try to open their eyes wider to get in the crease and I am glad you said it takes you longer because I am trying to get it done in a few minutes like the tutorials, getting frustrated because you ladies make it look so easy! This was helpful!! I'd love to see more and more of this type focussing on eyeshadow for different looks. Coz it is harder to learn, having good brushes helps! But it makes all the difference. You match the shadow color with the eye color. Not so much with skin color..

Andrea! I’m so happy i found your channel. I’ve been watching your videos the entire quarantine. I struggle applying eye shadow in my under eye to make it look like an eye liner but with eye shadow. I have almond eyes and it usually looks dirty. Also, i feel like my makeup looks empty if i don’t “highlight” my eyes somehow. Hope to see a video on how to accentuate almond eyes with eye shadow 😃

you have no idea how long I’ve looked for a video like this. This is perfect. I don’t know how to do eyeshadow and this tutorial gave me so much information that I’ve never heard before. To beauty gurus, applying eyeshadow is a no brainer but for some of us is very hard and as much as I try not to look like I have a black eye. I always seem to look like that. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but the way you talk the sound of your voice idk everything about it is so smooth and relaxing. Love ur channel girl! 😍😘

I struggle with PICKING out the right colors for "transition" lid, crease, etc. Red head with green eyes...so I love to use especially "plumy" colors...For example one of my favorite eye pencils from MAC has always been "Prunella"...Just me? Great video! I always struggle with the outer corner-getting that nice < > with the shadow. It always ends up more broad/diffused, and I wonder if it's just the shape of my eyes that lend themselves to that.
