I've been having this issue for a while. Do I need to get new battery also now can't reset time cause its saying time not valid cause if daylight saving???? Any ideas
Check if your laptop's Date Syntax is American based (i.e swap over day/month). To check if you need new battery: 1. After correcting your time settings switch off your laptop and remove main battery 2. Return the main battery, then reboot your laptop, if the time error comes back, then you know you need to replace the CMOS battery
