PC - Time of Day Not Set - How to Fix - Dell PC

After a power outage, or an unexpected PC shutdown, you might see this message, 'Invalide Configuration Information - Please Run Setup Program - Time of Day Not Set.' It's easy to fix, just follow the steps in this video. This is for a Dell PC, but will be similiar for other models.

O meu desktop da Dell também apresentou essa mensagem e a de SupportAssist is running a system scan to detect any potential hardware problems.Fiz o scaneamento e voltava a funcionar e também quando acertava a data e hora também voltava a funcionar,ai troquei a bateria tipo uma moeda que vai na placa e aparentemente sanou o problema,já que tinha uns 6 anos.Espero que meu relato contribua com alguma forma!

Everything time I switch on my desktop it shows the same error. I have to do these entire process again and again whenever I switch on the desktop, any way to solve these problem permanently?

After i fix it and exit, it goes to a screen saying "no boot device found" then it says that i should press a random key to reboot. But i doesn't work. Is there any way i can fix it?

click "load default" hope it work

On bios mode, go to boot sequence. Then change boot list option to UEFI. Maybe it can work

The problem is I get this everytime we have a power outage or, I disconnect the power supply for a few mins.

0:48 that's odd I have a hard time with my machine to setup. Every time to change a digit in the date I have to reset the keyboard by pulling usb connector. No clue why that happens

@@nicholaspurcell5960 Im working on the same thing rn. The offical DELL site says you should load all bios setting to defaults.

@@adece5163 I looked into it A LOT yesterday and I think the must probable issue is that the "coin" battery in the motherboard has died.
If that's the case, it should be a pretty cheap fix! 🙂
